Wallflower
After a few weeks of not changing clothes at all, I decided to experiment with some new looks today. This was one of my favorites, so I thought I’d share it with you. I’m in love with every single piece of this outfit, especially the new hair from elikatira, which can be found at Collabor88 this month. Please excuse my poor shadow quality; the new viewer update has made my pretty shadows go away.
52 Weeks of Color: #8 Green
I’ve had this green outfit more or less done since before Christmas, but I’ve been so busy with the holidays and traveling and work craziness that I haven’t had a chance to take any pictures until today. Anyway, I wanted to use a good mix of greens since “green” is pretty vague and all encompassing, so here you go. 52 Weeks of Color: #2 Blue
I find myself really loving this color challenge, and I’ve been looking forward to posting a new look all week. Thanks for getting me back into blogging, Luna! I know this look probably seems a bit casual, but I really, really love a good casual look. Plus, it gave me a chance to blog my favorite jeans. You just can’t do blue without jeans, can you? Nuh uh. I mean… you could, but why would you want to? =P
In My Place: Minisode 1
I decorated this space for entry in the SL House & Garden Photo Contest, so I thought I’d post a little minisode with full details on my blog. The theme of the contest was “Go Crazy with Color,” and my entry is not a winner by any means, but it was fun nonetheless. (You can view all of the colorfully eye-popping contest entries here.) A big thank you to Jennaa Loire for all she does for the grid in the name of house and garden, especially for her work with the fantastic SL House & Garden group in-world. She is truly amazing, and if you love home decorating, join the group, and send her a little thank you for all her hard work. She really deserves it!
In My Place: Episode 4
I’m back with another installment of In My Place, and this one is a little bit different from my usual post. The other feature posts have been skyboxes I decorated for fun, but this is one I am actually living in because I built it myself! Enjoy!
In My Place: Episode 2
I got bit by the decorating bug again, so I thought I’d try my hand at decorating this awesome beach house. I used a few items from former 50L Friday and Project Themeory events, and I’m really glad I picked them up. Just a tip: if you see home decor items that will only be available for a limited amount of time through an in-world event, you should go ahead and pick them up just in case you might want to use them in the future. I’m sorry if I frustrate you by using items that are no longer available, but there is always the chance that you have them and completely forgot about them.

My swimsuit folder has been bulging lately with some awesome new releases, so I thought I’d blog a few of them. It was pretty fun scouring my inventory for accessories to go with these swimsuits, and I hope you enjoy what I found.

PF2010: Olive Juice
I have even more pose fair love for you today! Olive Juice is seriously one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE pose shops on the grid, and I am always eager to see its new releases. And the new sets available at Pose Fair 2010 are certainly no exception. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them, and I’m so excited to be able to show you a couple of new poses here.
Now We’ll Never Know
This is a sort of strange look today. I put this outfit together and took these pics while I was sick this week, so we can blame the peculiar nature of this look on that. I’m not sure it makes much sense, but it doesn’t really matter. Very few things in SL make any sense at all. Just add this look to the list.
If I Kiss You Where It’s Sore
For some reason we’ve had just enough pleasant weather here to make me want to wear shorts in-world all the time. So I apologize for the absurdity that is this outfit. It might make absolutely no sense, but it’s pretty damn cute. So there!
Struggling to Keep Warm
This look came about entirely by accident, but it’s very much a reflection of something I might wear to take my dogs for a walk these days. You see… it’s so unbearably cold here in my little corner of the world… much colder than any winter I can ever remember having this far south. And I’ll wear just about anything and everything to keep warm, even if it means I kind of look like a homeless person. At least I’m warm and toasty underneath! I’ll admit that there are very few “typically Alabamian” things about me, but whining about how cold it is right now is DEFINITELY one of them.
Baby, It’s Cold Outside
There’s no denying that I love cold weather in RL. And honestly, cold weather looks in SL are probably my favorites because I love to layer. Not only is it a great opportunity to showcase as many designers as possible when you’re layering, but cold weather looks are so damned cute and snuggly, too! Who couldn’t love them?
fri.day mix.match (and an honest review)
The highly anticipated opening of the all-too-mysterious fri.day is finally upon us. With their store opening on Friday, August 7th, there has been quite the buzz surrounding the identities of the designers behind this new brand. Frankly, I don’t care who they are; if they’re talented enough, they’ll stick around.
