Blue Christmas

I love that the holidays have two major color schemes.  You get your red and green fix literally everywhere, and others choose to go with the more modern look of blue, white, and silver.  And since blue is my favorite color, I couldn’t resist building a look around this amazing blue dress.

Oh Yes, I’m Addicted

Oh Yes, I'm Addicted by Stacie Pryor.

I’m very much addicted to the new []:: TULI ::[] Hope Ivory skin, so I had to indulge myself with a few more photos in the ivory wig from >TRUTH< before I returned to my usual red-headed self.  I never could have guessed I would trade in my sangria wigs for ivory, but you have to admit it almost suits me.

fri.day mix.match (and an honest review)

fri.day mix.match (and an honest review) by Stacie Pryor.

The highly anticipated opening of the all-too-mysterious fri.day is finally upon us.  With their store opening on Friday, August 7th, there has been quite the buzz surrounding the identities of the designers behind this new brand.  Frankly, I don’t care who they are; if they’re talented enough, they’ll stick around.  Anyway, a little taste of what they have to offer in their first collection and my honest opinion are after the cut…

Four Seasons Challenge

Four Seasons Challenge by Stacie Pryor.

A couple of days ago, Cajsa Lilliehook, esteemed SL fashionista and photographer, issued a Four Seasons Challenge to the masses.  I thought this was a terrific idea for a challenge, so I quickly jumped on the bandwagon and started assembling an outfit for each season using one item in common:  the adorable Roxy Bermuda Shorts from [PINK OUTFITTERS].  I thought it would be really cool and challenging to try to use a pair of shorts in all four seasons, but this task was a bit more difficult than I expected.  Details for all four looks are after the cut…

Welcome to Suburbia

Welcome to Suburbia by Stacie Pryor.

I found a really cute location to take pictures last night, but, of course, SL hates me and wouldn’t let anything rez.  So, I apologize for being lazy and TPing back home to take pictures.  Please don’t be too critical of my (lack of) landscaping skills.  I suck at everything but shopping…LOL!

Mood Picker-Upper

Mood Picker-Upper by Stacie Pryor.

I was kinda getting tired of all of the darks colors of winter, so I put together a look with more of a springtime feel to it.  It’s amazing how easily lighter colors can really pick up your mood…

Purple Loves Green

Purple Loves Green by Stacie Pryor.

A few days ago, I read a really great blog written by Gabby Panacek touching on the combination of greens and purples.  And I couldn’t agree with her more.  Then, a beautiful pair of forest green pants fell into my lap, and the rest is history.  So, here’s an outfit that is very much my own personal style, but I wanted to give credit where credit is due (thanks Gabby!).

Monochrome Moodiness

Akeyo 5 by you.

I seem to be having those days lately where nothing is black and white anymore.  Everything seems to be a gray area… complicated… confusing… and all around chaos.  So, in honor of the black and white and gray areas of all our lives, here’s a post of monochrome moodiness from me to you.  Oh, and there’s a splash of color, too!

My So-Called Animated Life

Nakama 3 by you.

I have seen plenty of gorgeous, blogworthy sims in SL, and they always amaze me at how beautifully realistic they can be.  And, as wonderful as those amazing sims can be, at the end of the day, we are still pixelated beings in an animated world, and sometimes, our surroundings should be cartoon-tastic too.

Hold Me Closer Tiny Dancer

Black Swan Ballerina 5 by you.

At times, I think it’s normal to feel the need to change things up a bit…get out of your own skin and into a new one, one that is completely different from your norm.  I have been wanting to do a ballerina set for a long time now, and, somehow, the perfect pieces fell into my lap, allowing me the opportunity to fully embrace my newfound ballerina persona…

Free as a Bird

Zaara 5 by you.

So, apparently lady luck is in my corner, because, lately, I have been flooded by a string of gorgeous lucky chair items.  I just love it when I TP to a store on a whim, wishing for an S on the lucky chair, only to find exactly what I hoped for, and I am in and out in a matter of minutes!  Therefore, I thought it would be appropriate to honor my good fortune by putting together a look based on my new favorite lucky chair item…

Artsy Fartsy

Muse Art Walk 4 by you.

I’m in an artsy fartsy mood today, so I headed out to the Muse Art Walk to appreciate the creativity of others.  I am always amazed by the unbelievable talent of artists these days, so it is no surprise I was blown away by the beautiful exhibitions at Muse…

Black Pearl

Rivet Town 2 by you.

It doesn’t get any classier than pearls.  Pearls are and will always be the most time-honored accessories.  So, it is no wonder why I love them…they will never go out of style!  I especially love BLACK PEARLS!  So, today I’m in the mood to be a little more elegant than usual…and my black pearls are sure to take me there…

Happy Friday, fellow fashionistas!  This has been the longest week, and I am ready for a break from my mundane RL job…  In need of a little escape, I headed out to the fabulous ChouChou sim for a little bit of froufrou…and a little NOT-so-froufrou…

sheek - a misspelling of chic, as in fashionable or stylish. If you spell chic this way, you most likely have no clue what chic means... Pretty much sums it up! I blog what I like, and I like what I blog. Feel free to let me know if you like what you see. And thanks for checking out my blog!
