PF2010: aDORKable

Pose Fair 2010 closes in a few hours, so don’t forget to get over there and grab what you can while the getting is still good.  The event was an amazing experience for me, and I’m so grateful to the organizers and all of the pose vendors involved who made it such a gratifying shopping experience.  They raised a ton of lindens for a very worthy cause, but there’s still time to give more.  So be sure to check it out before it closes.

Sassy

I know you’ve probably already seen this skirt all over the feeds lately, but I loved it so much that I couldn’t resist building a look around it.  Zaara has always been one of my absolute favorite shops in SL, and her new releases still make me squeal.

2009 Jewelry Fair Feature: *KessKreations*

I’m so excited that the 2009 Jewelry Fair kicks off today!  I’ve been looking forward to it since last year’s expo, which was fantastic, and the number of participants this year is through the roof!  To kick it off, here’s a closer look at this year’s amazingly beautiful designs from the uber-talented Kesseret Steeplechase of *KessKreations*…

Scribbly

Scribbly by Stacie Pryor.

I am very privileged to know many talented designers in SL on a personal level, mostly thanks to Plurk.  I am even more privileged to be able to call many of them my friends, especially SarahTheRed Aurbierre, whose friendship means so much to me.  Not to mention, she’s a hugely talented up-and-coming designer, and I am more than happy to point you in the direction of her quickly-growing shop, Vanitas Vesture.

You Are Now Entering the Pink Zone

You Are Now Entering the Pink Zone by Stacie Pryor.

Ok … so … I um … got a little crazy with the pink.  Just a little.  But I just couldn’t help myself.  All of these pieces were just way too cute NOT to put them together.  I just hope you’re not puking Pepto-Bismol by the time you leave.

Shabby Chic

Shabby Chic by Stacie Pryor.

This outfit was truly a happy accident.  I was collecting a few different pieces throughout the grid and just kinda threw them together.  VOILA!  Instant shabby chic!

Sugary Sweet

Sugary Sweet by Stacie Pryor.

Yet again, RL has had me tangled up lately.  I have had this look put together for a few days, but I haven’t quite had the time to get it posted.  I hope you will forgive me!  I’ve been transitioning toward spring looks, and this one is just plain adorable!

I Feel Like a Woman

I Feel Like a Woman by Stacie Pryor.

I felt like wearing something really feminine today.  I know you’re probably thinking that I ALWAYS look really feminine, but today, for some reason, I’m really feeling like a woman.  Even despite the fact that I’m wearing baggy pants.  It’s just something about this outfit…

K is for…Karma

K is for...Karma by Stacie Pryor.

Ok…so I am way off my game today.  After staying up all night working on a huge project, I am tired and grumpy and sleepy and I just want to go home, curl up in my bed, and sleep for days.  However, this is the real world, and I can’t.  But I can whine just the same.  Here’s “K”, which I actually put together last night in my pre-whiny phase.  So, don’t worry…great fashion is ahead…

Cicilia

Cicilia by Stacie Pryor.

I am always on the prowl for formal gowns with system skirts that don’t make your backside look ten miles wide.  And Neferia Abel of Ivalde never disappoints with her new releases.  As soon as I put on the beautiful Cicilia gown, I knew I couldn’t pass up the chance to blog it.  So, here you go!

In Bloom

Tempura 6 by you.

Now, don’t get me wrong.  I absolutely love fall and winter tones … blacks, browns, oranges, reds, and many more.  But, sometimes I need a punch of springtime color to get me in a good mood.  And there’s nothing better than some pink and purple to lift my spirits.  So, today, I felt like doing just that and headed over to Tempura to set my sights on some lovely blooms.

In the Trenches

Fashion Cafe 4 by you.

I’m SO glad that fall weather is finally here!  I am such a big fan of coats, and this weather is absolutely perfect for a nice trench coat.  Trench coats are very much my own personal style, so putting this look together was easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat 1 by you.

Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays.  I love playing dress up, attending costume parties, going trick or treat, and, of course, all of the wonderful hayrides and haunted houses.  So, in the spirit of Halloween, I wanted to visit a great haunted house, but I needed the right outfit.

Pigment

Figment Island 5 by you.

One of the reasons I love SL so much is that it is a creative outlet for myself and so many others.  I also have a deep appreciation for art in any form.  So, seeing someone take a two-dimensional work of art and transform it into a three-dimensional masterpiece in SL really blows my mind!

sheek - a misspelling of chic, as in fashionable or stylish. If you spell chic this way, you most likely have no clue what chic means... Pretty much sums it up! I blog what I like, and I like what I blog. Feel free to let me know if you like what you see. And thanks for checking out my blog!
