There are times when I just see something I need. NEED. And I just have to have it. I spend most of my time in SL working on builds, and I rarely brave events before the first week of lag has worn off, but I just couldn’t restrain myself. I had to hit up the Festival of Sin for this bed. Both the headboard and the bedspread are texture change, and the bed comes with 2 wood versions of the bed as well as the bulb accessories pictured.

52 Weeks of Color: #13 Emerald
I was pretty excited about this week’s emerald color challenge. I am a May baby, therefore emerald is my birthstone. Plus, being a redhead, emerald is definitely a good friend of mine. However, my inventory didn’t have much emerald in it. I had to really scour my inventory to find some good emerald pieces, but I also lucked into a fantastic new item that I’m so excited to share with you.

52 Weeks of Color: #6 Yellow
Yellow week is here, and I have to say… I’m not really a fan of yellow. Not in either life. But, for some reason, I had some yellow items hanging out in my inventory, so I threw them together and called it a day. And for fun, I threw in some decor, too. Enjoy!

52 Weeks of Color: #2 Blue
I find myself really loving this color challenge, and I’ve been looking forward to posting a new look all week. Thanks for getting me back into blogging, Luna! I know this look probably seems a bit casual, but I really, really love a good casual look. Plus, it gave me a chance to blog my favorite jeans. You just can’t do blue without jeans, can you? Nuh uh. I mean… you could, but why would you want to? =P

In My Place: Minisode 2
I decorated this space several weeks ago and never posted it, so I thought it was about time I stopped being so blog-lazy. I love love LOVE the bed in this pic, which I modded from three different furniture sets. So please keep in mind that you can’t purchase the above bed as is, and you will need to heavily modify three different furniture sets to get the above result. In My Place: Episode 5
I received several requests to make the get lost/get found skybox into a house, so I built this cute seaside cottage in the same style as the previously released skybox but with a more gender neutral color palette this time.

In My Place: Episode 3
So I guess you could say I’m a bit addicted to interior decorating in SL. Once I get an idea in my head, I have to see it through to fruition. And that’s exactly what happened when I found this awesome bed. I got an idea and had to see it realized. And THEN I had to decorate an entire skybox around it. I really loved the way this skybox turned out, so I might live in it for a while. I hope you enjoy the fruits of my addiction.

In My Place: Episode 2
I got bit by the decorating bug again, so I thought I’d try my hand at decorating this awesome beach house. I used a few items from former 50L Friday and Project Themeory events, and I’m really glad I picked them up. Just a tip: if you see home decor items that will only be available for a limited amount of time through an in-world event, you should go ahead and pick them up just in case you might want to use them in the future. I’m sorry if I frustrate you by using items that are no longer available, but there is always the chance that you have them and completely forgot about them.

In My Place: Episode 1
Something I really enjoy outside of fashion blogging in SL is decorating various houses and skyboxes lingering in my inventory. I was home sick from work today, so I thought I’d do something a bit therapeutic and put my energy into decorating this awesome new gift skybox from **DP**yumyum.
