Skin Love: DUTCH TOUCH MenSje
I have been casually mentioning my love for the new :: DUTCH TOUCH :: MenSje skin in my most recent posts, but I haven’t really gushed too much about it yet. So I wanted to post a quick pic of the gorgeous new MenSje face and properly exclaim my love for it. It has been a while since I found a DT face I just couldn’t live without, but this is definitely one of those faces.
52 Weeks of Color: #12 Taupe
I’ve heard that a lot of people hate taupe, but I actually love it. I’m a huge fan of earth tones, and being able to color block with taupe this week has made me super happy. Call me boring if you like, but I love a nice, clean look. And I am really digging the uniformity of this look as well as the simple elegance of these pieces meshed together. Also, I’m still fooling around with shadows, so don’t hate on my pictures while I figure out what the hell I’m supposed to be doing, k?
52 Weeks of Color: #9 Silver
Alright… I was REALLY nervous about silver this week because I couldn’t really think of anything silver in my entire inventory (outside of jewelry, obviously). But then I remembered that I had tucked away this awesome dress for just the right occasion, and I dare say that this is the perfect time to use it. I summoned a few other goodies from my inventory, and voila! Silver is DONE. Oh, and I never would have guessed I had this much “silver” in my home furnishings folder, so the added decor was an excellent surprise!
Cold Winter Air
It has been a loooooong while since I posted a regular LOTD here outside of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, but I couldn’t sleep last night, so I played around with clothes instead. I have been wanting to put together a winter weather look with this adorable sweater (because hunter green is a redhead’s best friend), but I didn’t want it to end up looking like a Christmas outfit. However, I think this look worked out just fine for a late night/early morning clothing binge.
Hair Fair Faves: Mid-Length & Long Hairstyles
I’m back with my last installment of Hair Fair goodies. I merged the mid-length and long hairstyles together for this post, because I didn’t find as many of each that I would wear on a regular basis. It seems this year’s Hair Fair had a LOT of braids, ponies, piggies, and short hairstyles, but not so many mid-length and long hairstyles that I would wear. These Strange Steps Take Us Back
I bought a few new releases this week, so I threw them together for a quick look. I’m loving the summer goodies being released, and this adorable, yet simple, look is just what I need. Since I’ve been building more and blogging less, I haven’t been changing clothes as often as I should. I know, right? Shame on me. Hopefully this look is the beginning of a step back toward blogging more frequently.
Just a Little Touch of Fate
I started playing around with a few newer releases over the weekend, and this outfit was the end result. I love the soft color palette and the fun, flirty ruffles. This is a look that really makes me feel like girl, and that is quite alright with me.
