A best friend is a special gift.  It is the strongest possible kind of friendship.

I am proud that Clementine Ishtari is my best friend.  She understands me.  She listens to me.  She’s always there for me.  She doesn’t sugarcoat anything or bullshit me.  She tells me how it is.  And I am grateful to have her through thick and thin.

The story of us is complicated.  We have hurt each other, but we have also forgiven.  We have laughed, and we have cried.  We have been through a lot, but we’re still in it together.

The last picture we took together was over two years ago, so we were really overdue for a new pic.  Btw, isn’t she cute???

As soon as Tuli Asturias offered her brand new Audrey skin as a gift to her VIP group, I knew I was in trouble.  You see… I  have this problem.  An obsession, if you will.  With any and all Tuli skin lines.  And I knew as soon as I tried Audrey, I would be hooked.  Because, well… the quality of Tuli’s work speaks for itself, and her skins never disappoint me.  So take a look at Audrey, will you?

There’s nothing quite like a fun evening with friends to make everything better.  It had been ages since I just let loose and had some fun in SL, and I’ll admit… we had a blast!  Clem tasked me with keeping her out of trouble (which is not as easy as you might think!), so I recruited some help from Aldwyn, and the whole situation made for a great excuse to get together for a fun photoshoot featuring the awesome work of Gauge Laville, the mastermind behind + blacklisted +.  We cussed and sang and rocked out to 80′s tunes and laughed until we cried.  Yes, we were highly inappropriate, and proud of it!

I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for the new Alyson skin from -Belleza- to be released.  Tricky Boucher previously sent out a gorgeous gift to his group, which was a preview of Alyson, and I have been itching to get it since then.  I knew this would be the perfect skin for me.  I just knew it.  And it turns out that it’s also the perfect skin for redheads.  Hands-down. Zoe Demar and Niavi Toxx just launched an awesome new brand in SL, NIAVI.  I have known about the launch for some time now, and I have been so excited to get a sneak peek at this brand new line of clothing.  And I have to admit that I was not disappointed in the least.  In fact, I was quite impressed at the quality of these new goods.  I wanted to show you a selection of the new offerings, so there are four more looks and full style details after the cut.

Something about this outfit, specifically the fuzzy coat, just makes me feel like I’d be the perfect candidate for warm snuggles.  Don’t I look so nice and toasty?  I first saw this awesome coat on Lizzie’s blog, and I immediately fell in love with it.  Truth be told, it’s one of my favorite items this winter, and I couldn’t resist using it to throw together a snuggly ensemble.

I’m trying to do a better job of mixing and matching new releases with older items already available in my inventory.  I think sometimes we get so overwhelmed by new releases that we tend to overlook some really high quality items that we’ve had for awhile.  At least I know this is true in my case.  So, today I’ve decided to showcase a few things old and a few things new.
