A Little Bit Retro
I’ve noticed that my looks tend to be muted and neutral, and I rarely give a huge color splash. So I decided to put together a look with a bit more color than usual, and I ended up with this retro feel. But I like it, and I think the pieces work well together. Sometimes you just have to go where the outfit takes you.

Free Spirit
I finally braved the new Drowsy sim, despite the lag and congestion. I didn’t get to see much, but I did manage to find a new-to-me shop and snap a couple of pictures in the single section of the sim I could get to rez. Regardless of the obstacles, it sure was worth the trip!
Teal Ribbon
Lately, I have really been missing my grandmother. She was my best friend in the world, and she died when I was 13 (almost 13 years ago). I miss her everyday, so I thought it would be nice to do an outfit for her today…something she would enjoy. Does anyone know what the teal ribbon means?

Four Seasons Challenge
A couple of days ago, Cajsa Lilliehook, esteemed SL fashionista and photographer, issued a Four Seasons Challenge to the masses. I thought this was a terrific idea for a challenge, so I quickly jumped on the bandwagon and started assembling an outfit for each season using one item in common: the adorable Roxy Bermuda Shorts from [PINK OUTFITTERS]. Tropicana
After visiting the beach at Cocos Island, I wanted to explore the island and little bit more. I found that the further inland I went, the more beautiful the island became. Seeing all the beautiful flora and fauna gave me the perfect excuse to wear something a little more tropical.

I wanted to put together a simple carefree look for my trip to Festivale, so I went with something really simple and easy. Sometimes we (I’m included in this!) tend to overaccessorize and overlayer, and frankly I needed a little break from it. Warm Me Up
It is getting much cooler here now, almost to the point that I need to pull my coat out of the closet. So, it got me thinking … hmm … I don’t even remember having to wear a coat last year at all, so I am probably due for a new one. YAY! Any excuse to go shopping works for me. So, a new RL coat calls for a new SL one, too, right?
