I was pretty excited about this week’s emerald color challenge.  I am a May baby, therefore emerald is my birthstone.  Plus, being a redhead, emerald is definitely a good friend of mine.  However, my inventory didn’t have much emerald in it.  I had to really scour my inventory to find some good emerald pieces, but I also lucked into a fantastic new item that I’m so excited to share with you.

Alright… I was REALLY nervous about silver this week because I couldn’t really think of anything silver in my entire inventory (outside of jewelry, obviously).  But then I remembered that I had tucked away this awesome dress for just the right occasion, and I dare say that this is the perfect time to use it.  I summoned a few other goodies from my inventory, and voila!  Silver is DONE.  Oh, and I never would have guessed I had this much “silver” in my home furnishings folder, so the added decor was an excellent surprise!

I decorated this space several weeks ago and never posted it, so I thought it was about time I stopped being so blog-lazy.  I love love LOVE the bed in this pic, which I modded from three different furniture sets.  So please keep in mind that you can’t purchase the above bed as is, and you will need to heavily modify three different furniture sets to get the above result.  Of course, all details are below the cut.  Enjoy!

I’m back with my last installment of Hair Fair goodies.  I merged the mid-length and long hairstyles together for this post, because I didn’t find as many of each that I would wear on a regular basis.  It seems this year’s Hair Fair had a LOT of braids, ponies, piggies, and short hairstyles, but not so many mid-length and long hairstyles that I would wear.  So, here are my faves, and if you haven’t been to the Hair Fair yet, you better get on that because it closes in a few days!

I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for the new Alyson skin from -Belleza- to be released.  Tricky Boucher previously sent out a gorgeous gift to his group, which was a preview of Alyson, and I have been itching to get it since then.  I knew this would be the perfect skin for me.  I just knew it.  And it turns out that it’s also the perfect skin for redheads.  Hands-down. I am extremely humbled and honored that people even read this silly blog of mine.  And when someone is so gracious to name one of their creations after me, it truly touches me.  Seriously, I was sitting around chatting with my friend, Bronson, a few days ago, complaining that I had been looking all morning for the perfect necklace for this outfit, which was complicated by the fact that I needed one that attached to the spine, and hours later this gorgeous Stacie’s Necklace from Dark Mouse falls into my lap.  Mouse Mimistrobell of Dark Mouse is extremely kind and generous, and I’m so flattered that she named this gorgeous necklace after me.  Thank you, Mouse!
