Bumblebee
One of my favorite Halloween costumes this year was the adorable Bumblebee freebie costume from Dernier Cri. I wanted to blog it soooo badly, but everyone else beat me to the punch, so I just kinda didn’t. But with the release of the new Bumblebee necklace and ring at Paper Couture, my gears started turning. So, I’ve assembled a very Bumblebee-esque look for you today.

Amber Is the Color of Your Energy
So, by now you probably know that I love to wear chocolatey browns in Autumn. But, what you probably didn’t realize is that I also love oranges, especially gorgeous amber tones. Both oranges and browns (depending on the specific tones) usually mesh very well with red hair, and I think this look is a testament to that!

In Bloom
Now, don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love fall and winter tones … blacks, browns, oranges, reds, and many more. But, sometimes I need a punch of springtime color to get me in a good mood. And there’s nothing better than some pink and purple to lift my spirits. So, today, I felt like doing just that and headed over to Tempura to set my sights on some lovely blooms.

Country Girl at Heart
So, even though I am not a big fan of country music, I went to an SL country hoedown last night and had a great time. After growing up on a farm in northern Alabama, hearing those good ol’ country songs really took me back to my childhood. And, although I tend to stray from my country bumpkin past in my adulthood, it’s nice to reminisce and get a little homesick.

Split Pea Soup
SATURDAY IS HERE AGAIN!!!!! Sorry I have been AWOL this week, guys, but I am back today with a vengeance! After one of those weeks that seem to never end, I am so happy that the weekend is here and I can get back to something I actually enjoy. : ) So, since I am always looking for more clothes, shoes, and accessories, I did ALOT of shopping last night! After all, retail therapy is the best kind of therapy there is!
