Welcome to Suburbia
I found a really cute location to take pictures last night, but, of course, SL hates me and wouldn’t let anything rez. So, I apologize for being lazy and TPing back home to take pictures. Please don’t be too critical of my (lack of) landscaping skills. I suck at everything but shopping…LOL!
Carnival Love
I wanted to put together a simple carefree look for my trip to Festivale, so I went with something really simple and easy. Sometimes we (I’m included in this!) tend to overaccessorize and overlayer, and frankly I needed a little break from it. So, I decided to assemble this look, which is relaxed, easy-going, and simple simple SIMPLE.

Mood Picker-Upper
I was kinda getting tired of all of the darks colors of winter, so I put together a look with more of a springtime feel to it. It’s amazing how easily lighter colors can really pick up your mood…
Purple Loves Green
A few days ago, I read a really great blog written by Gabby Panacek touching on the combination of greens and purples. And I couldn’t agree with her more. Then, a beautiful pair of forest green pants fell into my lap, and the rest is history. So, here’s an outfit that is very much my own personal style, but I wanted to give credit where credit is due (thanks Gabby!).

Giving Back: Think Pink…and Get Furry

Country Girl at Heart
So, even though I am not a big fan of country music, I went to an SL country hoedown last night and had a great time. After growing up on a farm in northern Alabama, hearing those good ol’ country songs really took me back to my childhood. And, although I tend to stray from my country bumpkin past in my adulthood, it’s nice to reminisce and get a little homesick.
