It’s that time again!  Spruce Up Your Space is upon us for November, and this month’s “Flackback” theme was really fun for me!  I wanted to build something reminiscent of a quaint cottage with an old-fashioned feel to it, and the [SPRY] grandma’s house developed sort of naturally.  The [SPRY] grandma’s house is a small, cozy home with warm tones and vintage comfortability.  I hope you like it!  Full details, lots of pictures, and appropriate SLurls are after the cut…

A best friend is a special gift.  It is the strongest possible kind of friendship.

I am proud that Clementine Ishtari is my best friend.  She understands me.  She listens to me.  She’s always there for me.  She doesn’t sugarcoat anything or bullshit me.  She tells me how it is.  And I am grateful to have her through thick and thin.

The story of us is complicated.  We have hurt each other, but we have also forgiven.  We have laughed, and we have cried.  We have been through a lot, but we’re still in it together.

The last picture we took together was over two years ago, so we were really overdue for a new pic.  Btw, isn’t she cute???

There’s nothing quite like a fun evening with friends to make everything better.  It had been ages since I just let loose and had some fun in SL, and I’ll admit… we had a blast!  Clem tasked me with keeping her out of trouble (which is not as easy as you might think!), so I recruited some help from Aldwyn, and the whole situation made for a great excuse to get together for a fun photoshoot featuring the awesome work of Gauge Laville, the mastermind behind + blacklisted +.  We cussed and sang and rocked out to 80′s tunes and laughed until we cried.  Yes, we were highly inappropriate, and proud of it!
