52 Weeks of Color: #13 Emerald
I was pretty excited about this week’s emerald color challenge. I am a May baby, therefore emerald is my birthstone. Plus, being a redhead, emerald is definitely a good friend of mine. However, my inventory didn’t have much emerald in it. I had to really scour my inventory to find some good emerald pieces, but I also lucked into a fantastic new item that I’m so excited to share with you.

52 Weeks of Color: #6 Yellow
Yellow week is here, and I have to say… I’m not really a fan of yellow. Not in either life. But, for some reason, I had some yellow items hanging out in my inventory, so I threw them together and called it a day. And for fun, I threw in some decor, too. Enjoy!

Hair Fair Faves: Mid-Length & Long Hairstyles
I’m back with my last installment of Hair Fair goodies. I merged the mid-length and long hairstyles together for this post, because I didn’t find as many of each that I would wear on a regular basis. It seems this year’s Hair Fair had a LOT of braids, ponies, piggies, and short hairstyles, but not so many mid-length and long hairstyles that I would wear. Where Is My Mind?
I thought I’d blog for a change, so I threw together a simple casual look with some old and new items from my inventory. I guess I’m not much of a fashionista, especially lately, but I seem to prefer practical, comfy looks in my SL. I’m a simple girl, and that’s okay with me.

In My Place: Episode 1
Something I really enjoy outside of fashion blogging in SL is decorating various houses and skyboxes lingering in my inventory. I was home sick from work today, so I thought I’d do something a bit therapeutic and put my energy into decorating this awesome new gift skybox from **DP**yumyum. The Anti-Crimson Tide
So I assembled this look with bits and pieces of things I absolutely love, and I really adored the finished product. That is, until I realized that I look like something out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Now I know you’re not all from Alabama or from the U.S. for that matter, but most people know that I’m VERY anti-Crimson Tide. A quick trip to Hibbett Sporting Goods for sneakers a few days ago REALLY reinforced that for me. So yeah, this look is covered in Paul “Bear” Bryant, but let’s just ignore that, okay?

We Are Proudly Inappropriate
There’s nothing quite like a fun evening with friends to make everything better. It had been ages since I just let loose and had some fun in SL, and I’ll admit… we had a blast! Clem tasked me with keeping her out of trouble (which is not as easy as you might think!), so I recruited some help from Aldwyn, and the whole situation made for a great excuse to get together for a fun photoshoot featuring the awesome work of Gauge Laville, the mastermind behind + blacklisted +. We cussed and sang and rocked out to 80′s tunes and laughed until we cried. Yes, we were highly inappropriate, and proud of it!

Black and White
I couldn’t resist the Lily Old Hollywood skins from :: Exodi ::, so I grabbed them up at the Skin/Shape Expo and built an entirely vintage black and white look based on their inspiration. These pics are raw from SL; I only added a black vignette around the edges and framed with rounded corners. That’s it!
