Aoharu Ruffle Shirt Dress in Pink

Yesterday I ran across this adorable pink Ruffle Shirt Dress by Aoharu.  Even though redheads are told to avoid pink, I love the color, especially this pink, which is the exact color of the carnation pink Crayola® crayon (weird how I know this…yes, adults can color, too!), and I can’t resist wearing pink any chance I get.  : )

I LOVE the puffy sleeves and detailed bodice, and the black ribbon belt adds the perfect finishing touch.  However, the dress comes with an awkward “jacket” that gives your arms a weird zebra stripe that makes you look like you got a cheap spray-tan behind the 7-Eleven.  So, opting not to sport the streaky spray-tan look, I chose to wear the dress sans the jacket.

I have paired this dress with the Salt Water Taffy Signature Bangle Set by Fresh Baked Goods (which is a freebie) and, of course, the Maitreya Virtue shoes in Patent Black.

Ah Honey Honey…

I have to admit I am a HUGE fan of VictoriaV.  I MEAN HUGE… I just can’t get enough of her simple and elegant designs, and the adorable Honey Dress in Black and White is one of my favorites…

But of course, what would the Honey Dress be without my Maitreya Virtue shoes in Patent Black?!?!?!  Ever since I picked these up at the 2008 SL Footwear EXPO, I have been wearing them with EVERYTHING!  Sorry, but when I find shoes like this, I become a habitual repeater…I just can’t help myself!

Anyway, if you have not been to VictoriaV’s new mainstore, it is a MUST-SEE!  And if you haven’t picked up a pair of the Maitreya Virtue shoes in Patent Black, go see them for yourself…you are likely to leave with them in hand… : )

Alchemy's Passionata Dress

WOW!  This dress gives me goosebumps!  I fell in love with it the first time I ever put it on, and I always seem to come back to it…

This is the Passionata dress by Alchemy, which was actually the April group gift…sometimes it’s amazing how BEAUTIFUL a freebie can be!  In fact, I’m pretty sure Pearl Flute already posted about this dress on iheartsl back in April…

However, I wanted to remind everyone that you can still get this dress by going to the Alchemy mainstore, subscribing to the group, and clicking through the group history.  There are other free gifts still available in the group’s history, so be sure to grab those, too!

Anyway, I’m sorry if you have seen this dress before…I just couldn’t resist posting a picture of this beautiful dress in the AMAZING Eternal Reflections sim!  This dress, paired with the Gem Jelly Donut Bangle by Fresh Baked Goods (in black with ruby gems) makes for a stunning scene…
