So, basically, this pic is me in RL today. I’m home sick from work feeling like crap, and I have pretty much been useless all day just lounging around in my warm pajamas. Being sick totally sucks, especially when there is so much to be done at work. Oh well. The work will still be there waiting for me when I’m better. Anyway, I figured I might as well knock out the color challenge for this week since I had not gotten to it yet. Please pardon my appearance… I’m sickly.

Yellow week is here, and I have to say… I’m not really a fan of yellow. Not in either life. But, for some reason, I had some yellow items hanging out in my inventory, so I threw them together and called it a day. And for fun, I threw in some decor, too. Enjoy!

52 Weeks of Color: #4 Plum

We’re four weeks into the color challenge, and I’m having more and more fun each week. I thought plum might be a bit difficult, mainly because there are so many different shades of purple to sift through in my inventory, but I really don’t think it was that bad. I decided to delve into my inventory rather than searching the grid like crazy this week, so I stuck to my platform and searched my clothing folders for hours. Since I like to mix and match, my plum outfit isn’t really plum through and through, but it does give an overall plum effect. And I kinda like it that way.

Happy Rez Day, Caroline!

In case you didn’t already know, I recently moved the [SPRY] mainstore from the Horst sim (which is sadly closing soon) to the Lo Lo sim to make a new home with the existing Caroline’s Jewelry, Ingenue, and !BANG mainstores. (And the new Doppelganger Inc. mainstore is coming soon!) In the process, I have developed some new friendships with talented creators who I have admired from afar for quite a while. And one of those creators is Caroline Apollo.

Scheming on a Thing

Oddly I’m back with more bloggage today. It certainly wasn’t planned, but yet again, it just happened. Today I was inspired by quite a few items, and the look just sort of happened on its own. It’s funny how that happens on occasion. I guess our designers really do make it so easy for us to put together a rockin’ outfit with minimal effort.

Fighting for a Lost Cause

I haven’t really been blogging much lately because I’ve been seriously lacking inspiration and motivation. I’m tired of forcing a look because I feel the “need” to blog, so I’m taking a step back and blogging when inspiration hits. No more schedules, no more obligations. Just me blogging the looks that make me feel good, when I feel so inclined. I threw this look together a few days ago and couldn’t resist posting it. It is a change from my normal casual look, and I really love it. I hope you will, too.

I thought it would be perfect for a mini-photoshoot in Rainy Town, although, I have no idea why I would be standing around on a busy street in a bikini and rain boots. Oh well…such is the beauty of SL. Sometimes reality totally evades us, and that’s completely okay.
