But I still like to throw together a look on occasion, and I’ll still be posting them here when I have the time. This one sort of came together on its own, but I really love the way it turned out. As soon as Tuli Asturias offered her brand new Audrey skin as a gift to her VIP group, I knew I was in trouble. You see… I have this problem. An obsession, if you will. With any and all Tuli skin lines. And I knew as soon as I tried Audrey, I would be hooked. Because, well… the quality of Tuli’s work speaks for itself, and her skins never disappoint me. You should know that I’m a big fan of the []::Tuli::[] Jade skin line, and I was so excited to hear that Elysium Eilde, of *elymode*, has collaborated with Tuli to release a boatload of awesome new tattoo layer makeups for the Jade skin line. [SPRY] in SL H&G Hunt

The SL House & Garden Hunt starts today, and I am ecstatic that my tiny little shop is a part of such an awesome hunt!

For my hunt gift, I built this cute [SPRY] Garden Pavilion, which is available in two sizes (both 6×6 and 8×8 footprints) for FREE! The pavilion is only 42 prims (both versions), and I hope it will provide and cozy and relaxing outdoor living space for your garden. These Strange Steps Take Us Back

Since I’ve been building more and blogging less, I haven’t been changing clothes as often as I should. I know, right? Shame on me. Hopefully this look is the beginning of a step back toward blogging more frequently.

In My Place: Minisode 1

I decorated this space for entry in the SL House & Garden Photo Contest, so I thought I’d post a little minisode with full details on my blog. The theme of the contest was “Go Crazy with Color,” and my entry is not a winner by any means, but it was fun nonetheless. (You can view all of the colorfully eye-popping contest entries here.) A big thank you to Jennaa Loire for all she does for the grid in the name of house and garden, especially for her work with the fantastic SL House & Garden group in-world. She is truly amazing, and if you love home decorating, join the group, and send her a little thank you for all her hard work. She really deserves it!

Community: Two Three Six Five

I thought I’d do something different from my ordinary fashion/home decor posts by highlighting an amazing community project that I think is pretty special. Hopefully you have already heard of the Two Three Six Five blog project run by Trace Osterham, but in case you haven’t, I thought I’d post a bit of information about it here in hopes that you might participate!

Two Three Six Five is a “glimpse into the lives of 365 different Second Life™ residents around the world throughout the course of a year, and a literary model of the way their virtual and physical selves interact.” The blog depends on one volunteer author per day who shares 365 words or less about any topic. Two Three Six Five was inspired by the RL project, the3six5, and the original blog even acknowledges the SL version here. How cool is that???

You don’t have to share anything especially private or special or spectacular, and you don’t have to be a SLebrity or receive any sort of special invitation to contribute. Read the guidelines, sign up, and write! It’s really that easy. I posted my entry back in April, and if I can do it, you certainly can.

Do yourself a favor and check out the blog. Even if you don’t contribute a post, link it to your blog, add it to your feed reader, keep up with the daily posts, and spread the word. Below are several entries that really spoke to me, but, truly, every post on Two Three Six Five is special. So, check it out!

So, it’s pretty obvious that I’ve been a terribly lazy blogger lately. I have been building more often lately, and unfortunately that hasn’t left much time for other things. But I’m trying to get back into it, trying to catch up on some review copies, and at least attempting to balance my blogs with my builds. I’d like to have time for both, so I’m going to work hard to make sure my blog doesn’t suffer too much because of my shop. Hold me accountable, k?

In My Place: Episode 5

I received several requests to make the get lost/get found skybox into a house, so I built this cute seaside cottage in the same style as the previously released skybox but with a more gender neutral color palette this time.

Single bay window with window seat
Triple french doors
