52 Weeks of Color: #3 Goldenrod
I’ll be honest… I struggled with this week’s color challenge a bit. I started off with another outfit that ended up looking too much like mustard, so I scrapped it. I was trying to stay away from lemon yellows and mustard yellows, so I experimented a bit and ended up with something a little gold-ish. So yeah, I failed. Big time. Oh well. I’m still determined to keep up with this weekly challenge, whether I fail or not.
We Just Go in Circles
Just kinda felt like blogging, so here’s a simple, feminine look for you. I’ve been on a skirt kick lately, and I absolutely love this one (which is actually part of a dress.) Plus, I needed to show off some of my hair fair finds in regular LOTD style, so here’s the first! Enjoy!

There are tons of cute hairstyles at this year’s Hair Fair, so I thought I’d show you a few of favorites here. I did quite a bit of hair fair coverage last year, and I thought classifying my posts by hairstyle type (like I did last year) would work out well. Just a Little Touch of Fate
I started playing around with a few newer releases over the weekend, and this outfit was the end result. I love the soft color palette and the fun, flirty ruffles. This is a look that really makes me feel like girl, and that is quite alright with me.
Waiting in the Wings
I have been wanting to do something different with this dress for several weeks. I already did a look using the top piece, but I wanted to figure out a way to use the skirt, and I finally found the perfect pieces to create an interesting look with this skirt. Yay!
Fighting for a Lost Cause
I haven’t really been blogging much lately because I’ve been seriously lacking inspiration and motivation. I’m tired of forcing a look because I feel the “need” to blog, so I’m taking a step back and blogging when inspiration hits. No more schedules, no more obligations. Just me blogging the looks that make me feel good, when I feel so inclined. I threw this look together a few days ago and couldn’t resist posting it. It is a change from my normal casual look, and I really love it. I hope you will, too.
Something Beautiful
I had not planned on posting anything today, but I logged on and remembered that Bronson had mentioned some new springtime dresses that I needed to check out. So, of course, this post is his fault. That and the fact that I spent way too many lindens this morning. Hmm… what else can I blame on him? I’m sure I’ll think of something…
PF2010: Miamai
Pose Fair 2010 has really been such a great experience for me, and I love that it has opened my eyes to so many pose stores I had never visited. I have been flipping through folders upon folders of poses I’ve acquired from PF2010, and I had to stop on the folder from Miamai because they caught my attention like few others did. Mavi Beck has really impressed me with these awesome poses, so I just had to share them with you!
PF2010: (pda) is dead
I have been really impressed by all of the amazing poses at Pose Fair 2010, and I was really excited to grab up these super cheap and extremely awesome poses from (pda) is dead. Izzy really has a way of creating interesting, graceful, and expressive poses, and the (pda) is dead pose sets for PF2010 are a welcome addition to my collection. Continue reading
The Fashion Circus @ Le Cirque
The Fashion Circus event starts tomorrow, bringing you a week long shopping event that showcases exclusive themed designs by some of the top designers in SL. The event will be held on a monthly basis at the Le Cirque sim and will feature a different theme and different sets of designers each time. The Fashion Circus theme for April 2010 is ‘Le Cirque – The Circus!’, and the event will run from April 10th to April 18th.
