- sheek - a misspelling of chic, as in fashionable or stylish. If you spell chic this way, you most likely have no clue what chic means... Pretty much sums it up! I blog what I like, and I like what I blog. Feel free to let me know if you like what you see. And thanks for checking out my blog!

I’ve been wearing this cute little outfit for a few days now while trying to build something that just did not work out the way I had hoped. Sad face. But, the plus side of builder’s block is that I needed a break to clear my head, so I decided to blog this outfit instead!
I’ve had this top from G Field for quite a while now, so it’s nothing new but I still love it soooo much. I recently found these awesome mesh high-waisted shorts at MOLiCHiNO (which is a new-to-me store, by the way), and I thought this top would be adorable with them. These shorts are REALLY well done, and I absolutely adore them. I can tell that I will definitely be wearing them a lot this year. Also, I picked up these fantastic boots from G Field at the Fashion for Life 2012 event, and I am completely smitten with them. The cuffs are actually texture-change, and the boots are mesh so they fit like a glove.
I’ve been wearing a ton of Exile hair recently, and I am in love with this new Someone Like You hairstyle. Kavar’s mesh hairstyles fit me so well, and he pumps out enough new releases to keep me swimming in plenty of options. I decided to keep the accessories to a minimum on this look, but this fanciers necklace from undefined lilies is one of my favorite pieces of Lilie’s, and it makes me feel all fancypants.
Last but not least, if you don’t already have the Logie Garden Set from The Loft, you definitely need to go check it out. Colleen has MAD mesh skills, and this gorgeous and completely romantic set makes my heart all aflutter. It comes with all of these adorable accessories as well as plenty of pose and prop options. It’s just amazing. Seriously… go check it out.

Spruce Up Your Space is back for February, and this month’s theme is Bad Romance! I wanted to build something fun and flirty but not so girly/feminine/it’s-February-so-everything-is-covered-in-hearts-ish. The [SPRY] bad romance bachelor pad is a private skybox for all your bachelor or bachelorette needs, such as entertaining guests (if you know what I mean… wink wink!). I hope you like it! Full details, pictures, and appropriate SLurls are after the cut…
I wanted to make something cute for my first Super Bargain Saturday, so I dreamed up these graphic posters based on a certain movie I have had stuck in my head lately. Can you guess the movie??? The [SPRY] semi-sweet poster art (set of 3) will be available for only L$60 for SBS on February 18, and they will be placed at regular price at the [SPRY] mainstore and on the SL Marketplace following SBS. I hope you like them!
Spruce Up Your Space is back for December, and this month’s theme is Winter Wonderland! I wanted to build something fun, festive, and perfect for holiday parties and events and/or holiday-themed community spaces. The [SPRY] holiday pavilion is a festive outdoor structure with holiday decorations, warm tones, and open airy appeal. I hope you like it! Full details, lots of pictures, and appropriate SLurls are after the cut…
It’s that time again! Spruce Up Your Space is upon us for November, and this month’s “Flackback” theme was really fun for me! I wanted to build something reminiscent of a quaint cottage with an old-fashioned feel to it, and the [SPRY] grandma’s house developed sort of naturally. The [SPRY] grandma’s house is a small, cozy home with warm tones and vintage comfortability. I hope you like it! Full details, lots of pictures, and appropriate SLurls are after the cut…
I’m always excited to take part in the monthly Spruce Up Your Space event, and this month’s “Tea Time” theme is absolutely fantastic! I wanted to build a fun, outdoor space fit for the perfect tea party, and this pavilion seemed the perfect choice. The [SPRY] tea party pavilion is a sweet outdoor structure with soft floral interior, open airy appeal, and rustic botanical charm. I decided to include all the little details that I would want for myself in a tea party pavilion, but I have included two versions for the price of one: one version with all the details and a second version that suits the more prim-conscious. I hope you like it!
It has been several months since I participated in the Spruce Up Your Space event, so I decided to stop being so lazy and get involved again. This month’s theme for SUYS is “Coastal Cozy,” and I wanted to build something a bit less conventional than your typical beachhouse. Some of my favorite childhood memories revolve around our summer vacations to Tybee Island, where we took refuge from the heat in our cozy family beachhouse. I always spent a lot of time swimming in the ocean or playing on the beach with my sister, but my favorite way to pass the time was lounging on the gorgeous wrap-around porch sketching birds and beach scenes with my cousin. I wanted to recreate that sort of comfort and familiarity by building something rustic and weathered, yet open, airy, and cozy, and I think the [SPRY] the sweetness coastal home accomplishes exactly that.
I was invited to join one of my favorite events in SL, the Spruce Up Your Space event, and as you can imagine, I’m pretty stoked about it. This month’s theme for SUYS is “Life of Luxury,” so I decided to build a nice vacation home. It doesn’t get much more luxurious than owning a private vacation home, right? And in SL, it doesn’t get more private than a hidden skybox. So I merged the luxury of a vacation home and the privacy of a skybox to build the [SPRY] pied-à-terre, a getaway skybox that is your private home away from home.
The stores on Lo Lo are participating in a sim wide sale on January 11, 2011.
Each store will have at least one item for L$111.
For today only, you can get the [SPRY] little shadow home for L$111!
You definitely don’t want to miss this, so teleport HERE!
Luna Jubilee proposed a 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, and I think this might be a good goal for me. I have been a super lazy blogger because I spend so much time building and doing other things, so I am really going to try to stick to this. The first week is grey, and I had plenty of grey in my inventory to get me started.
