Strange You Never Knew

I haven’t blogged in a while because I’ve been busy/working/building/insert various other lame excuses here.  But I still like to throw together a look on occasion, and I’ll still be posting them here when I have the time.  This one sort of came together on its own, but I really love the way it turned out.  I hope you like it, too!  It makes me feel super femme and pretty.

This look started with this awesome skirt, which is part of the Isabella dress from [ORTA].  I absolutely love the beautiful dress, with its gorgeous textures and amazing skirt movement, but the dress as a whole was a bit too formal for the look I was trying to achieve.  So I ditched the single strap sculpted top and opted for the top part of the Somer Dress from Surf Co. I love the sculpted chest folds, and the button detailing down the front is so well done.  For shoes, I splurged and purchased these stunning Hana Seashell Leather sandals from Maitreya Gold, and I am truly tempted to wear them all the time.  Seriously… they are worth every penny.

For accessories, I added this gorgeous straw hat from WILDO, which has beautiful texture-change lace detailing around the top.  I have been wanting to use this awesome bohindian bag from rbcg. for quite awhile, and it fit really well with this look, so I’m glad I saved it until now.  I kept the jewelry to a minimum by choosing one small statement piece — the Pearl Rain bracelet from MANDALA, which is such a lovely piece of jewelry.  The RIDE hairstyle from [ 69 ] fit perfectly underneath the WILDO hat with the help of the built-in resizer script and a little bit of modding.  And, of course, the beautiful -Belleza- Elle is my go-to skin, and I most associate it with “my look.”  Last, but not least, you seriously need to check out the poses at !BANG.  The selection is growing every day, and the newest releases are some of my favorite poses to date, so be sure to TP over there and take a look.
