Just a Little Touch of Fate

I started playing around with a few newer releases over the weekend, and this outfit was the end result.  I love the soft color palette and the fun, flirty ruffles.  This is a look that really makes me feel like girl, and that is quite alright with me.

I picked up this adorable new violet Summer of Stripes skirt at Surf Co., and I absolutely adore it.  The sculpted skirt is superb, the striped textures are amazing, and the high-waisted fit is exactly what I love to see in a skirt like this.  I paired it with the bodice from the champagne Tiny Bird St. Augustine dress, which comes with pretty sculpted bows and a chest attachment that is very well done.  The texturing on the bodice is awesome, and I love the adorable details.

I added this ginormous new BORGHILD hat from [LeLutka], and I am really in love with it.  The hat’s brim and sash are incredible, and I just know I will be living in this hat for the foreseeable future.  I modified the new Brande.2 hairstyle from fri.day to fit the hat, and it was really easy, only taking me about ten minutes to edit prim by prim.  The Brande.2 hairstyle is so sexy, and I find myself wearing it all the time.

For shoes, I chose these cute studded wedge sandals from J’s, which are a steady favorite.  Then I accessorized with this awesome suede handbag from BareRose, the sexy Vanisri wrapped necklace from Zaara, and the beautiful Pearl Rain bracelet from MANDALA.

I turn my head up to the sky
