I haven’t really been blogging much lately because I’ve been seriously lacking inspiration and motivation. I’m tired of forcing a look because I feel the “need” to blog, so I’m taking a step back and blogging when inspiration hits. No more schedules, no more obligations. Just me blogging the looks that make me feel good, when I feel so inclined. I threw this look together a few days ago and couldn’t resist posting it. It is a change from my normal casual look, and I really love it. I hope you will, too.
I picked up this awesome skirt at ::{u.f.o}::, and I immediately felt the urge to build a look around it. The flexi skirt is absolutely amazing, with a gorgeous floral texture, and a wide black waistband which I am sure would be very stretchy and comfortable in RL. I really can’t say enough great things about this fantastic skirt, so you really just need to buy it and try it for yourself. I’ve been living in it for days.
I paired it with this simple boatneck top from [Whippet & Buck], which was part of a special spring color pack exclusively for Stumblebum a few weeks ago. Although this color probably isn’t available anymore, the skirt has so many colors in it that a number of different tops would suit it perfectly. I added these fantastic wedge sandals from J’s, which have been sitting in my inventory for over a year and are STILL some of the best out there. If you know anything about color-changing with RBG, then the touch menu for color-changing the toes will be a cinch for you. To be honest, it’s easier than some of the complicated color-change HUDs out there.
For accessories, I chose these gorgeous lariate and pearl necklaces from Atelier AM, which are absolutely perfect for this look. Then I added one of my favorite clutches on the grid, the beige Chanel clutch from =DeLa*=. I finished it off with my gorgeous -Belleza- Elle skin and this amazing new MOA 02 hairstyle from [ 69 ], which is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely love the way the new [ 69 ] hairstyles are made and the gorgeous new Dark Mauve texture, which is a rival to fri.day’s Dramatic Red texture for my fave. I am SO glad that I bit the bullet and paid to join the group the last time hair was released. I love having early access to new hair. Yay!
One last thing: today’s poses are new at GLITTERATI, and they are made specifically for long hairstyles. This is an awesome idea, and the pose set is absolutely fantastic. So, be sure to get them!
