Now We’ll Never Know

This is a sort of strange look today.  I put this outfit together and took these pics while I was sick this week, so we can blame the peculiar nature of this look on that.   I’m not sure it makes much sense, but it doesn’t really matter.  Very few things in SL make any sense at all.  Just add this look to the list.

My dear bff Clem reminded me of these adorable Fruits Medley tanks at !OhMai, and I just fell in love with this cute strawberry one.   Strawberries and pineapple are my favorite fruits, and this tank is sort of a combination of the two, with its adorable strawberry graphic and gorgeous pineapple-colored backdrop.  I paired the tank with these cute Everyday Jean Shorts from Doppelganger, Inc., which are pretty fantastic.  Normally I prefer shorts with sculpty cuffs, but these are textured so well that the cuffs are not even necessary.  I threw on this adorable lace cardigan from *COCO*, which I have loved for so long.  It does a great job of breaking up the color crazy in this look.

I added these cute button socks from MIEL, which kinda match and kinda don’t, but I had massive amounts of leg showing, so they work well.  And I love how these petanko cross slip-ons from Zero Number match the strawberries perfectly, but sadly they are no longer available.  So, hopefully you have them in your inventory.  This awesome Soon Enough hair/glasses combo is a collaborative item from Tiny Bird and Reek, and I really love how much fun it is.  And last, but not least, I found this too-cute phone accessory at rbcg., and I couldn’t resist wearing it.  I know it makes absolutely no sense for me to be sitting on the edge of a pier with a phone around my neck, but what-the-eff-ever.  It helped inspire today’s song, so it DID serve a purpose… pffft!
