It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Kira Ahn’s gorgeous skins. I have consistently found that [KA] SKINS give my avatar a unique look that sets me apart from other avatars, while giving me a distinctive sense of familiarity. And right now, her gorgeous BARDOT-Vivienne is my go-to “ME” skin. But I couldn’t resist trying her amazing new BARDOT-Nora, which I have been lusting after since I saw a yummy teaser a few weeks ago. I’m always eager to try skins with freckles, and this one definitely hits the nail on the head.
Nora’s face is absolutely gorgeous, sprinkled with beautiful freckles which seem VERY realistic to me. I had freckles as a kid (though they’ve faded by now), and these seem very much as I remember them on my formerly angel-kissed face. The makeup I am wearing in these pics is my favorite of the available makeups for this skin tone, primarily because I love the gorgeous subtle lip color and gloss and perfectly applied blush.
Nora’s body is just as exceptional as the rest of the BARDOT line, showcasing the same well-done shading and highlighting as I’ve come to expect from Kira Ahn’s fantastic handiwork. I chose this beautiful dull rose Kanti lingerie set from Zaara and added these silly floral moccasin boots from **DP**yumyum, which are just too adorable.
I’ve been branching out a little bit and building my own sets for skin photos, instead of using the old boring white background. I couldn’t resist picking up this spectacular Winter Livingroom set from :[MudHoney]: Designs, and it works perfectly in my new house from norðari., which I’m currently using as a skybox. I got sooo many pieces in this set, and each piece is so exquisitely textured, making the entire scene look so natural and homey. Kudos to Rayvn Hynes for this exceptional set!
