Thrifty

As much as I enjoy dressing up in SL, nothing makes me happier than an easy-going casual look.  Especially when brand new jeans are involved.  I took another trip to the new Tableau build because I couldn’t get all of it to rez on my previous visit.  And it’s such an awesome build that I couldn’t resist snapping a few more pics in my uber-comfy look.

These fantastic jeans are the new Dana 76 jeans from [Decoy].  I had the pleasure of watching their progress develop as Annette was tailoring them, and I must admit that I’m so happy with the finished product.  They come with different cuff options and are available in several washes.  I decided to wear this awesome “MYselves” sweater from Meriken Co., which is primarily a men’s shop but has been expanding to include some really amazing female and unisex items.  I really love the texture of the sweater, and the wonderful sculpted cuffs and hem make it extra snuggly.

For a bit of a layered look, I decided to wear the gray Thermal.Henley and the charcoal Fingerless.Gloves from fri.day underneath the sweater.  I know I’ve been wearing a ton of fri.day items lately, but their clothing items are so well done and extremely versatile that it’s really hard NOT to wear them with everything.  For shoes, I chose the awesome Smoked Grey Snugs from *Kookie*, which are really male shoes that I resized quite a bit to fit my small feet.  But they’re extremely well made and fit perfectly in this look.  Then I added this adorable messenger bag from MIEL, which was a previous group gift and is fully customizable with a ton of color options.  And, of course, the hair is the lovely winter-capped Yelena from fri.day, and the skin is my lovely BARDOT-Vivienne from [KA] SKINS.
