It has been my experience that we, as fashion bloggers, are truly blessed with wonderful, caring, talented, and extremely generous designers. Honestly, without the designers and the amazing things they do for the fashion community, I wouldn’t have much to talk about in this silly little blog of mine. So, it should come as no surprise that I, or we, might become accustomed to the status quo. Spoiled, if you will. Yet, there are also times when we’re totally blown away, caught off our guards, truly surprised by something. And this is one of those times for me.
Ashoka Eales, of Phoenix Rising, surprised me with this amazing new set of outfits named Stacie’s Strength, in my honor. Simply put, I am surprised, shocked, and blown away. And to be honest, I’m so emotional right now that I’m struggling to write this blog post. So please bear with me, because this topic touches very close to home for me. Those of you who know me on a close, personal basis probably know why Ashoka might see something in me that most people don’t. And to those of you who don’t really have a clue what I’m talking about, I apologize for being so vague. However, I’d never want to be accused of flaunting my own disadvantage, so I’ll just leave it at that and show you the amazingly versatile stylings of Stacie’s Strength instead.
For me, Stacie’s Strength is self-evident in the sheer versatility of its pieces. Not only does it come in several amazing color options, but each folder itself contains enough pieces to create a variety of different looks and styles. So, I took a little time and had a lot of fun mixing this and that to effectively style four completely different looks from the pieces of this set. And I think I did a decent job.
This first outfit is my favorite color offering: magenta. I chose the gorgeous blouse, with its adorable puffy sleeves and sexy high-waisted fit, and I paired it with the skirt option, which is simply fantastic. To keep the look a bit sweet and innocent, I chose these awesome Hyasynths MaryJanes from (Shiny Things) and the beautiful Vintage Flower set from Paper Couture. And, of course, the new Bailey hairstyle from >TRUTH< was just perfect for this look.
For the second look, I chose the blue jacket, which is wonderfully crafted with amazing sleeve cuffs and a nicely popped collar. I styled it with the pants this time, which sport very chic wide-leg cuffs and amazing pocket and button details. To finish off the look, I added the silver Reversal of Fortune jewelry set from Dark Mouse, the gorgeous gray Long Boots from J’s, my amazing white hobo bag from Indy & Co., and the adorable new Lydia hairstyle from >TRUTH<.
This third look is one of my favorites because I love the adorable bow, especially the fact that it is tintable, allowing me to match it to any color scheme I want. I chose the amazing citrus jacket, pairing it with the skirt and bow, which I think looks very fashion-forward. For shoes, I added these gorgeous wine Tia boots from Adam n Eve, and then I tinted the bow to match the boots… yay! Then I chose the beautiful copper Twisted jewelry set from Dark Mouse and the lovely Zoe hairstyle from >TRUTH< to finish off the look.
And this final look is one of my favorite colors of the set: apple. I chose the apple blouse, with the high-waisted fit, and paired it with the pants. The blouse sports a sexy black lace frill and exposes plenty of cleavage, giving this a very grown-up look. I accessorized the outfit with the trendy Sophisticated Necklace from Twosome, the black Rock Candy Watch from (Caroline’s), and the beautiful Times Square ring from Paper Couture. Then I finished off the look with these amazing Soho boots from Maitreya and the gorgeous new Sarana hairstyle from >TRUTH<.
All I can say is thank you, Ashoka! Your gift to me truly means so much, and I will never forget your generosity and kind words. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! <3
Also, please don’t hate me, but this outfit isn’t exactly available yet! But I’m modeling for the vendor shots tomorrow, so they should be out VERY VERY SOON!

sheek - a misspelling of chic, as in fashionable or stylish. If you spell chic this way, you most likely have no clue what chic means... Pretty much sums it up! I blog what I like, and I like what I blog. Feel free to let me know if you like what you see.
