Autumn

With the arrival of October finally upon us, my RL community is seeing the beginning of Autumn weather.  However, the grass is still green, and the leaves haven’t yet started falling from the trees, so the grassy scene in this photo is a typical Autumn scene for me right now.  I came across a great blogger challenge, posed by Puma Jie, calling for favorite Autumn ensembles, and I couldn’t pass it up.  Autumn is my favorite season by far, and I knew that pulling together my first official look of Autumn would be a blast.  Thanks for the great challenge, Puma!

Light coats, jackets, and blazers are by far my favorite pieces for fall, and I have been wanting to showcase this Second Hand Jacket from >TRUTH< for what seems like forever, so I used it as my starting piece.  For added warmth, I layered the Maitreya Savior Turtleneck Top underneath, in this gorgeous bronze color, which really enhances the neutral undertones of the jacket.  Because of a conflict with the turtleneck piece and the jacket’s collar, I had to copy the collar and reposition it to the spine, which is really easy to do.

I decided to pair the awesome jacket and turtleneck combo with a simple pair of jeans from DP*yumyum, which are some of my favorite jeans on the grid right now.  To add a bit a sophistication to the waistline, I chose this adorable system layer belt from Whippet & Buck, which really adds so much to the look.  The new J’s Long Boots were the perfect addition to this look, with this beautiful sand color tying all the neutrals together.  And last, but not least, the new Gretel hairstyle from >TRUTH< is wispy and full of sex appeal, providing the perfect finishing touch to the look.  It’s a muted look, but I love it!
