2009 Jewelry Fair Feature: *KessKreations*

I’m so excited that the 2009 Jewelry Fair kicks off today!  I’ve been looking forward to it since last year’s expo, which was fantastic, and the number of participants this year is through the roof!  To kick it off, here’s a closer look at this year’s amazingly beautiful designs from the uber-talented Kesseret Steeplechase of *KessKreations*…

The *KK* Miaow Necklace, the first of three gorgeous necklaces available at the fair, is above.  This is an absolutely adorable design, with a cute little kitty face, body, and tail, studded with gorgeous gems.  Just like most of Kesseret’s beautiful creations, the Miaow Necklace is both metal and gemstone texture-change, letting you choose from gold, platinum, and zirconium metals and a wide variety of gemstones (I have used platinum metal and sapphire gemstones for the picture above).  Plus, this particular necklace allows you to choose separate metals for the pendant and chain, letting you mix it up if you want.

This is the adorable *KK* Elizabeth Necklace, with lovely gemstones dangling from a gorgeous chain looped through the most adorable little star accent.  I am completely smitten with this necklace, and it is probably my favorite of the lot, although it is very difficult to choose just one favorite.  Yet again, the necklace is both metal and gemstone texture-change, also allowing you to choose separate metals for the chain and star accent (I’ve chosen a zirconium chain, platinum star accent, and amethyst gemstones here).

Last but not the least, the *KK* MonaLee Necklace is super cute.  Sporting a thick chain and adorable lock pendant with the cutest little kitty face I’ve ever seen, this necklace is full of win.  If you know much about Kesseret, you know that cats are near and dear to her heart, so this necklace’s continued kitty theme comes as no surprise.  Yet again, both the lock and the chain are texture-change, and you can mix and match the metals for each (I’ve chosen a zirconium chain and silver lock).

Just a little bit of general information about the 2009 Jewelry Fair (more detailed info is available at the Jewelers of SL blog):

100% of the proceeds from vendor entry fees, one of a kind auctions, paid sponsors, events/games during the fair are going to Oxfam.  And many Jewelers are putting up special vendors to share 50% of the proceeds with Oxfam.  The fair is open from September 18th through September 27th, so be sure to visit and support as best you can.
