I’m Such a Dork

This one’s for Chou:

dork – 1.  Someone who has odd interests, and is often silly at times. A dork is also someone who can be themselves and not care what anyone thinks.  2.  Someone who does things that are kinda silly and not neccessarily cool but always cute.  3.  A whale penis.  (according to Urban Dictionary)

Chou: we are most definitely NOT #3.

This outfit isn’t at all what I had in mind for today’s post, but it pretty much came together on its own and ended up looking kinda dorky.  Oh well, dorky or not, I still really like it.  I picked up this adorable peacock feathered cardigan from PIDIDDLE, and I absolutely love it.  Nice textures and lovely details, and I think it looks great when layered over the amazing mocha Isis shirt from Zaara, which is one of my staple inventory items.

I paired the cardigan and blouse with this fantastic Weston skirt from Vanitas Vesture.  The skirt is amazing, with a beautiful texture and gorgeous frills and skirt movement.  It’s currently available on XStreetSL in quite a few different colors, so check it out (the link is in the details below).  For a little bit of dorkiness, I added these adorable socks from .: Naive :., and my amazing new Freya flats from Pixel Mode, which are a Midnight Madness giftie.  I really hope Tya plans to release these flats in more colors, because I’m absolutely in love with them.

For accessories, I thought the Vera Bag from Gbberish** would work quite nicely.  And the lovely Hiral Wood Earrings from Zaara provided a nice complement to the outfit in general as well as the Alex hairstyle from >TRUTH<.
