Hair Fair 2009 is finally here, and I braved the 4 sims this weekend to spend WAY too many lindens on hair upon hair upon even more hair! I thought I would show you my favorite finds at the fair, so this is the first post in a mini-series I’m calling my Hair Fair Faves. I’ve grouped the posts by hairstyle and decided to go with Braids, Ponies & Piggies for my first installment. Enjoy!

I bought quite a few great ponytail and pigtail hairstyles at Hair Fair, and these were definitely my favorites. The Grace Ponytail and Kimiko Style, both from SLink, are very well-made, and I’m really loving the texture options! I was pleasantly surprised to see such cute styles from [Decoy Hair], especially this great banged low pony called Nicole. I have to admit that the new hairstyles at !lamb. really blew me away, and this Babys on Fire pony is definitely one of my favorites. And no one can deny the amazing talent of Truth Hawks, especially this extremely lovely long piggy hairstyle named Esme, from >TRUTH<.

For braided hairstyles, I selected just a few, but these REALLY stood out to me. First, the Saeya Hair from Miau Haus sports such an adorable skinny braid and lovely, wavy tendrils. The new hairstyles from Maitreya, specifically Moon, are just so beautiful and wispy, I couldn’t help but purchase them all. And, of course, Romy from >TRUTH< is one of my favorite hairstyles of the entire fair.
