Scribbly

I am very privileged to know many talented designers in SL on a personal level, mostly thanks to Plurk.  I am even more privileged to be able to call many of them my friends, especially SarahTheRed Aurbierre, whose friendship means so much to me.  Not to mention, she’s a hugely talented up-and-coming designer, and I am more than happy to point you in the direction of her quickly-growing shop, Vanitas Vesture.

I am proudly wearing the black Flute Scribbly Dress, which is a new release from Vanitas Vesture.  I absolutely love the long, sexy fit of the dress, which is very chic and feminine.  And the beautiful handdrawn texture used here is fantastic, complete with a wide belt and lovely scribbly details.  To keep the look simple, yet classy, I added this amazing rose head dress from :::Usagui:::, which really gives the look a boost, especially when paired from this super chic Mod Squad hairstyle from (Vintage Wear).  To finish off the look, I chose a few key jewelry pieces.  First, the layered necklace from -+*Atelier AM*+- adds just the right amount of elegance to the look.  Then I added the Charcoal Rose Ring from (Elate!), which is an RFL item I picked up at the Fashion Expo, and the always lovely and functional Poseidon’s Treasure Bracelet from *KessKreations*, which is metal and gem texture change (I believe this was a hunt or expo gift, so I don’t think it is available for purchase any longer).  I didn’t get a picture of the shoes, however, I DO highly recommend the new SpanglesStilettoHeel from *COCO*.  Just try the demo and make sure they fit you properly before you buy them, because they come in 2 sizes but are NOT resizable.
