I don’t really know WHAT to call this look. It just sort of happened, and I love the way it turned out…just not really sure how to classify it. With its hippie ‘do, strapless top, high-waisted shorts, and suspender socks, it’s far from my typical look. Like I said, it’s a hot mess…kinda.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these new Michelle shorts from [LeLutka]. They are very well made, with a beautiful, rich texture and superb wrinkles and shading. I adore the high waist, and the prim cuffs are fantastic! The details in these shorts are simply stunning, and they are available in so many different color choices, it was almost impossible to pick just one!
I paired the shorts with this awesome Lizz Strapless Top from :: DUTCH TOUCH ::. The details in this top are AMAZING! I absolutely love the low cut of the bodice, with absolutely gorgeous rouching and bunching. The shading is immaculate, and the lovely diagonal stripes provide a nice subtle detail to the look. I thought this beautiful brown print would look perfect with the shorts, and I think I was right! Plus the cleavage is eye-popping! The top paired with the shorts flows so well that you would think they were made to be worn together.
I added a few key accessories to give the look a color boost. First, the NALAH Necklace from Lucas Lameth (luc) Fashion Jewelry is so unique and stunning. I knew it would look great with this outfit. Since, the chest was very open, the addition of this beautiful necklace fills the open void. Then, I added this gorgeous green leather bag from [ICoN], which provides even more of a color pop. To add a splash to the wrist, I chose this wonderfully beautiful malachite and gold bracelet from { Zaara }. And, for a hippie look, I added this gorgeous, yet kinda messy Apple hairstyle from Maitreya.
Since the legs looked empty, I decided to wear these adorable suspender socks from Pig Shop. These socks, with their awesome suspenders, are just too cute for words. And they come in so many colors, you can find a pair to match anything! I chose green to tie in with the gorgeous accessories. For shoes, I added a unique pair of chocolate pointy-heeled Jenne slip-ons from Storm Schmooz. They add quite the finishing touch with their unusual, yet stylish look.
