WOOT! After weeks of patiently waiting for the infamous Fashionable Relay Challenge to get to me, it is FINALLY my turn!!!! I did my best to follow the rules, so I hope you enjoy the end result!
Lucy Kenin did a great job with Fashionable Relay Challenge: Post 22 (her first EVER fashion post!), so I mulled over her choices carefully. The earrings really intrigued me, so I went off to Dinova Designs in search of these really cute gold Argyle earrings. I finally found them and used them as the basis for this look. Thanks, Lucy!
I wanted to create a simple, yet high-quality look, being sure to include enough different pieces to give my successor in this challenge enough of a selection from which to pick. So, aside from the earrings being relayed here, I started with these fantastic high-waisted dark jeans from &Bean. I absolutely love the sophisticated high waist and the sexy fit of these jeans. Plus, the golden stitching details and pockets are PERFECTION! I added this great puffy sleeved blouse from *COCO*, which really echoes the golden earrings and adds a bit of punch. The puffy sleeves are very well made, and I love the great attention paid to the shading and wrinkles. Plus, the blouse came with this awesome tie scarf, in gorgeous green, white, and baby blue stripes. I absolutely love it, and it provided the basis for the rest of my accessories.
I needed a really sexy sandal, so I decided to try the new Lovely Legs sandals from SLink. I chose these gorgeous gold ones, which really bring the bright golden splash down to the feet. These sandals are really superb, with a super-intuitive HUD designed to assist you in customizing every detail of the sandal, from the toe nail polish to changes in the skin color, metals, toe rings, and many more details. It even comes with an AO that locks your ankles, keeping the awkward ankle angles far away! I have to add that the HUD made it SOOO easy to match the feet to my skin color, which is a HUGE plus!
For accessories, I added this fantastic broad-rimmed hat from [iCoN], in a lovely shade of green which echoes the tie scarf brilliantly. Then, I found this adorable, yet sexy green vinyl leather clutch from +plus, which really added a bit more sophistication to the look. Last but not least, these awesome bangles from {So Many Styles} really added the last punch of green to the look, with classic golden details, as well.
