Short and Skimpy

I’ve been wanting to blog something a little bit on the wilder side lately, and I thought today would be perfect.  Apparently, animal prints are making a comeback, and I am all for them…in moderation, of course!

This outfit started with the yummy Foreign Affair Dress from Digit Darkes.  I have been a longtime fan of the affair slip dress, and I couldn’t help but nab it in this super sexy zebra print.  And I’ve been looking for a good excuse to wear a bright neon color, so I thought this lemon dress (which looks more like lime) would work quite well.  It was a little bit too lowcut, so I incorporated an additional layer by wearing a black lace corset from INSOLENCE.

I paired it with one of my favorite belts, the high waisted patent belt from M*A*ii*K*I.  It is a gorgeous wide patent leather belt, with wonderful shape and character, and I just love it!  To give the look some edge, I also added this AWESOME cropped bomber jacket from *COCO*.  It is very worn looking and extremely badass, and the textures on this jacket are absolutely phenomenal!  Definitely one of the highest quality cropped jackets out there!

Instead of leaving my legs bare or opting for shorts or capris, I added a nice pair of opaque black tights from Fleur.  Then I added these super adorable and unique flats from .:Periquita.  Since the lace accent on the dress is more of a lime to me, I chose these lime flats, which really add some POP to the base of the look.  These flats are some of my favorite on the grid, and not too expensive as far as shoes go.

To accessorize, I added a few key features to the look.  First, I have been wanting to wear this great sophisticated long necklace from Twosome (TS*) for a few weeks now.  I thought the white one added quite a bit of punch, and I think it works really well.  Then I chose this GORGEOUS diamond Times Square Ring from Paper Couture (p.c.), which adds a bit of depth and extra sophistication.  And, of course, for a little bit of edge, the super cute short Tori hairstyle from [Aden] fit the bill perfectly.

One more thing, Ana Lutetia has released some new posesets at her shop AnaLu *fresh poses*.  The ones I used in this post are just a sampling of some of her great new poses!  Be sure to check them out!

I hope you had a great weekend!!!!
