No one can deny the true power of retail therapy. I needed a little bit, so instead of delving into my newly organized inventory, I decided to treat myself to a few new goodies. After all, I deserve it, right?
To be honest, I didn’t have too much in my inventory from stores that start with an “R”, at least not stuff that I haven’t blogged yet. So, I really did have to venture out to find a few things this time. But, since there are plenty of “R” stores available, I had no trouble at all.
This sweater is one of the few things I actually already had in my inventory. I got it at Riddle a while back, and I have been itching to wear it. I absolutely love the gorgeous knit ribbing, the beautiful and colorful stripes, and the extremely sexy fit. The bare shoulders provide a really hip look, and the prim cuffs add the perfect finishing touch.
I paired the sweater with this awesome skirt I found at *RunoRuno*. I actually bought a fatpack of these skirts for really cheap, and it so happened to include this awesome jeans colored one, which is a great match to the sweater. I adore the belted waist, with the cute button detailing, and the awesome knit-like texture. And the sculpty skirt really makes it look super realistic. The movement is sort of clunky, but the overall look is stunning.
For shoes, I reverted to these awesome brown leather boots from *REDGRAVE*. I had been eyeing these boots for a long time now, and this “R” post gave me the perfect excuse to finally pick them up. Simply put, these boots are FANTASTIC. The leather texture is stunning, and the sexy heel is to die for. I love the adorable tassels at the top of the boot legs, and the overall look is simply perfect!
While at *REDGRAVE*, I found this awesome jewelry set, and I knew it would be perfect for this look, as well. The set came with this gorgeous circle necklace, awesome dangle earrings, and an adorable ring, all of which looked great with this outfit. I had been holding out on buying some sunglasses at ROLE OPTIC, but I couldn’t wait any longer, so I headed over there and picked up these awesome Princess shades. The glasses are really superb, with tons of change options via HUD. I highly recommend them. And for hair, I knew Refuge had some great styles I needed to check out, so I went with high expectations and was not disappointed. After trying on numerous demos, I finally landed on this Bridget hairstyle, complete with texture change knit hat, and I absolutely love it. I texture changed the hat to brown, which isn’t an exact match to the sweater, but is close enough. Overall, this hairstyle really gives the whole look a bit of an edge.
Finally, instead of boring you with my regular *REDGRAVE* skin, which I adore, I decided to branch out and try the skins from [ROCKBERRY]. And WOW, OH WOW, OH WOW! The skins at [ROCKBERRY] are so awesome! I finally decided on this one, the Mia D Natural skin, and I absolutely adore it. I really love the great, smoky eye makeup, and the lips are superb. I’m really bad about only choosing skins which require no modifications to my shape, and this one really did the trick for me. To finish off the face, I added these adorable Rendezvous lashes from *REDGRAVE*, and I think they highlight the eyes very nicely.
