Lazy Winter Days

Lazy Winter Days by Stacie Pryor.

Hello everyone!  Sorry I have been AWOL for a few days … I have been out of town and have just arrived back home and am starting to settle in.  Since I am exhausted from the long trip, I wanted to find something quick and easy for a lazy winter day such as this.  Enjoy!

This awesome sweater has been hiding in my inventory for awhile, and I thought it would be perfect for today’s lazy winter look.  I needed something relaxed and comfortable, and I knew this sweater fit the bill.  This is the Cowichan sweater in gray from **en Svale**, and it is extremely wintry-looking.  I absolutely adore the cute pattern across the chest as well as around the arms, which enables it to fit into this look rather easily.  Plus, this sweater has a terrific texture and perfect prim sweater cuffs, which are slouchy and extremely realistic.  I just love this sweater, and I’m glad today was the perfect day to bring it out!

Since the Cowichan sweater is somewhat open in the front, I needed something to wear underneath.  Instead of wearing the collar that came with the sweater, I thought a nice comfy turtleneck would be appropriate.  So, I pulled this gorgeous golden turtleneck out of my inventory, and I think it fits nicely.  You can’t see much of the turtleneck, besides the prim collar and a little bit of the bottom half, but it accents the Cowichan sweater nicely.  The lovely golden texture adds a bit of depth to the look without too much of a color boost.  I love the way it looks, and I think it is a winner for sure, especially since it is from Aitui, which is well-known for its use of gorgeous textures.

For my bottom half, I wanted a streamlined look, so I chose these gorgeous skinny Ryker pants from Hilarious.  Kesseret Steeplechase of Hilarious has been putting out some super releases over the past month and a half (maybe longer!), and these Ryker pants are no exception.  With beautiful handdrawn textures, these pants are a big hit with me.  Not only do they fit wonderfully, but they add so much character and depth to the look without being too flashy.  I can’t get enough of them, and I’m so glad I bought the Chubby Fat Pack of these pants, so now I have them in all available colors.  WOOT!

To finish off the outfit, I chose these easygoing boots from Shiny Things.  I can’t get enough of the gorgeous boots from Shiny Things, and these are not too flashy, pretty relaxed, but extremely well-made and full of minute details.  I decided to wear them in this great tan color, which really enhances the lovely golden hue of the turtleneck and adds a little more light to the look.  I just love the way this turned out, and it didn’t really take very long, so WTG Stacie for using stuff in my inventory rather than shopping!  LOL!
