Happy Saturday!!! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and are continuing to enjoy a great holiday weekend! I haven’t blogged in a few days (I’ve been really busy with RL work), so here I am with a cute wintry look to keep you warm! Enjoy!

I started this wintry look with this adorable Kawaii sweater and scarf from Truth. As soon as I saw these sweaters, I knew I had to have one. Not only are they extremely cute with lovely little hearts lined up along the midsection, but they also come with great scarves, which really make the sweaters look even more wintry. I chose the Kawaii sweater in chocolate, because you know I love browns so much, but also because I loved the wonderful colors of the little hearts, in pink, berry, and beige.

Instead of choosing pants for this look, I decided to go with something a little more feminine and cute, so I threw on this lovely skirt from Skin Flicks. I thought this adorable skirt, in a beautiful deep red tweed texture, complete with a very flattering flare, was a perfect fit for the sweater, echoing the lovely berry hearts. This skirt is actually an adorable high-waisted skirt, which you can’t see because of the overlapping sweater top, so I suggest you grab it up in every color imaginable and give it a try with another top so that you can see the great high-waisted fit. In fact, I may bring you another look later with this skirt in another color. Hmm…

ANYWAY! To keep my legs warm, I found these great ribbed pants from **en Svale** in a lovely pink beige color. I absolutely love the beautiful texture of these pants, with gorgeous deep ribbing, so I couldn’t resist trying them out. I think the beautiful rose color is a great accent to the berry and chocolate textures, so much that I decided to sport these adorable pink gloves in the same old rosy color, also from **en Svale**.

To round out the look, I tried on a number of boots in various colors, but I couldn’t manage to find anything I liked as much as these maroon Comfy boots from Shiny Things. The great maroon color is a perfect match to the red skirt and really balances the whole outfit. Basically, anything from Shiny Things makes me happy, but these boots are AMAZING! They really do look super comfortable and stylish at the same time, so I’m extremely happy I have some now!
My goal was to design this look to keep me warm, while avoiding the bulkier items, like big sweaters and coats. So, I’d have to say, I think it turned out really well. I’m pretty sure you could keep really warm with this look, especially with that much hair, right? LOL!
