Dress Me Up Challenge #2: Achariya and DeadDisco

Take 2 by Stacie Pryor.

Alrighty!  I’m back with another stab at the Dress Me Up Challenge.  This time, I killed two birds with one stone and combined two separate suggestions into one.  So, Achariya and DeadDisco, here you go!

Here’s what Achariya had to say:

“*grin* — I want to see you in teh cuteness of a Curious Kitties ensemble, from hair to clothes to accessories. I think you’d be adorable. Thanks for joining this challenge! ♥”

And here’s what DeadDisco had to say:

“hmmmmmmmm. i’d like to see you dressed in a giant eskimo outfit and then take your pictures on the beach with whales. and then take off the eskimo outfit and reveal your hot Burger King uniform.

yeah that makes no sense.

how about…hmmmm…. futuristic..uh… spacey… hmmm…lol, maybe cyber goth.”

So, scratch DeadDisco’s first suggestions (because that just ISN’T happening!), and combine Achariya’s Curious Kitties suggestion with DeadDisco’s futuristic/spacey/cyber goth suggestion, and I think this is pretty do-able!

So, first things first, I headed over to Curious Kitties to check out the selection.  Sadly enough, I have been to Curious Kitties to take photos before, but I have never been patient enough to wait for all of the vendors to rez so that I could actually shop there.  And, even though it was a pretty busy Saturday in SL, I decided to brave the lag and TP over there to see what I could find.  And WOW OH WOW OH WOW!  They have a GINORMOUS selection!  It took me forever to actually scroll through all the vendors, and I never thought I would possibly be able to make up my mind, but I finally settled on this great set, aptly called the Pinky set.

Curious Kitties makes it really easy for you to find everything you want all in one place by offering SETS of their clothing and accessories.  This way, you still get everything you want to complete an entire look, and you don’t even have to scroll through all of the vendors to try to mix and match yourself.  Plus, they are expertly coordinated, so it works out even better!  I decided to select a set, not only because it was easier, but because I wanted to compose the best combo possible to really highlight the great items Curious Kitties has to offer.

I chose the Pinky set because pink is very ME, and I loved the look of this outfit.  The set came complete with the top, skirt, pants, socks, and shoes.  It even came with the arm and chest ribbons and bracelets, which really add some depth to the look.  I absolutely love the gorgeous textures, layering options, and insane attention to detail that is self-evident in these items.  Purchasing the set was the best idea, because it really allowed me to showcase this look effectively and attractively.

Achariya also wanted me to sport some hair from Curious Kitties, so I decided to go all out and chose this awesome PINK hair!  I absolutely love the hairstyle, with flowy tendrils and great body and depth.  This pink was the perfect color, so I went for it!  And I love the way it turned out!

Thanks so much to Achariya and DeadDisco for their awesome suggestions!  I hope I did you justice!
