Alrighty! I’m back with another attempt at the Armoire Diversity Challenge. And this is a look I can really stand behind! To be honest, shopping around for men’s clothes is alot of fun, like an untapped market that only I know about! LOL!
I ran across some major male goodies on the grid while working on this challenge, and, I must say, I will probably start wearing many more male items now, especially now that I know it is possible to find some that don’t seem so obviously masculine. I found this awesome retro jacket at Redgrave, and let me tell you … it is HOT! I love the handdrawn details, gorgeous pinstripes, detailed pockets, and awesome crest patch. Yet again, I went for the open sexy look, so I could put a little midriff-baring surprise underneath.
I found this awesome tube top at Aitui earlier this week when I was grabbing up all of the new female goodies, and I thought it would be perfect underneath this jacket. The golden texture accents the crested patch perfectly and adds a little bit of color under the jacket. Aitui displays wonderful shading in their work, and this tube top is no different. It’s a great find, and I highly recommend that all of you take a trip over to Aitui, not only for the female items, but give the male items a try, too. To spice it up a little bit, I added a great necklace from (luc), which added a little color splash.
Yet another kickass find, these jeans blew me away. I have been looking for jeans this hot for awhile now, and I finally found them … ON THE MEN’S SIDE OF BEAUTY AVATAR! DUH! I absolutely adore the gritty texture, the realistic grain and the dirty-faded look. And the open buttons at the top are drop-dead sexy. Man, I wish I had thought to look there sooner! For shoes, I turned to a pair I have been wanting to purchase for awhile now, so I splurged and did it! These great sneakers from SOREAL, in the same golden hue as the tanktop, were perfect to finish off the look! Overall, this was a really fun challenge, and surprisingly much less frustrating than I thought it would be. Thanks, Ana!
