I’m SO glad that fall weather is finally here! I am such a big fan of coats, and this weather is absolutely perfect for a nice trench coat. Trench coats are very much my own personal style, so putting this look together was easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I came across this gorgeous trench coat by total accident. My adorable hubby and I were hopping from landmark to landmark trying to find all of the ghosts in the infamous Ghostbuster Hunt, when we happened to land near Cachet, a store I have been meaning to visit for quite some time now. So, of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to scope out the goods, and this coat was definitely a must-buy.

This trench coat is a HUGE hit with me for many reasons. I love the gorgeous waffle-like texture of the coat and all of the minute details that were added, such as the pockets, buttons, shoulder straps, and even a collar strap. It is obviously very well made, with perfect coat length and belt placement. The belt, complete with adorable buckles, comes in two versions: an AO version and a non-AO version. I chose to wear the AO version because it keeps the belt from moving inside your avatar’s body like it would with your normal AO. Actually, I still wore my normal AO, too, and the result was a blend of the two, with the belt never moving to an odd placement.

I paired the coat with some pants I have been wanting to wear for a long time now. They are a gorgeous pair of black flares from Skin Flicks, with a lovely, yet subtle, linen texture, and stylish flared bottoms, complete with cuffs, which I absolutely adore. And, it turned out that these pants were a perfect match to the coat, with the two flowing so well together. However, choosing the appropriate shoes wasn’t quite so easy. I tried on several different styles and colors already in my inventory, but nothing really worked. Then, I remembered that Truth had released some metallic pumps in the past few weeks, so I headed over to check them out. It didn’t take me long to lay my eyes on this gorgeous pair of pumps in copper suede, and it was a done deal.
I wanted to wear something under the coat, but I couldn’t quite find the right top. So, instead, I opted to wear a lingerie top underneath, which is just visible enough to let you know that I’m not completely naked under the coat without providing too much coverage. It also provides a touch of sexy mystery to the ensemble, because I doubt most people would even know that I’m basically wearing nothing more than a bra under the coat…LOL! So, it shall be OUR LITTLE SECRET! Shhh…
To accessorize, I remembered a gorgeous pair of chandelier earrings I picked up at Acid Mall, with beautiful gold and amber detailing. The earrings, along with the always beautiful ~flirt~ Bloom Ring in jasper and bronze, were the perfect additions to take this outfit over the top!
Happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween last night! See you tomorrow!
