Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays. I love playing dress up, attending costume parties, going trick or treat, and, of course, all of the wonderful hayrides and haunted houses. So, in the spirit of Halloween, I wanted to visit a great haunted house, but I needed the right outfit.
When looking for the right outfit, I had to keep the weather in mind. Nearing the end of October, the temperature is cooling, so I definitely needed something to keep me snug and warm. That’s when I stumbled upon this adorable cardigan, which was a new release at Truth this past week. It turned out to be the perfect sweater for my adventures, with wonderfully crafted prim sleeve attachments, beautiful knit texture, and brown buttons and cuffs, allowing me to accessorize with a brown belt and brown boots. I decided the cardigan, as short as it is on its own, wouldn’t be wholly appropriate for cold weather, so I pulled out a brown striped tank top to wear underneath.
I paired the cardigan and tank combo with these really great jeans from LF Fashions. They provide the perfect fit, with adorable embroidery on the rear pockets. These are honestly some of my favorite jeans on the grid, and perfect for boots, which are a big love of mine, especially this time of year.
Yet again, the real star of this outfit is the boots. As you can tell, I am a HUGE fan of boots! But especially these new releases from Maitreya. They sport the most perfect leather texture I have seen in quite a while, and a lovely billowy body to boot with adorable buckles at the top. Appropriately called the Billow Boots, my eyes popped when I saw them, and I’m so glad they worked so well with this outfit, because I have been itching to wear them!
To round out the outfit, I added this sexy brown belt, also from Maitreya, which was a previous group gift. With such a unique buckle and perfectly matching brown leather texture, it is the perfect fit for this ensemble. It needed some adjusting and resizing, but I think I found the perfect fit and placement. Now, I’m off to join the hayride! Hope you all had a great weekend! Cerrie will be back tomorrow!
