So, basically, I LOVE WINTER! And this year, fall isn’t even in full swing in my neck of the woods, and I am ALREADY jonesing for winter. So, since SL is the perfect place to have any kind of weather you want, I headed over to Tahoa Mountain Ski Resort to get my virtual snow fix…
Skin Flicks is all about the newness this week, so I headed over there to grab some new goodies. I found both this adorable sweater and skirt there, and I said, what the hell, let’s put them together…see what we get! And VOILA…they make for an adorable combo of sexy and sweet…even if the short skirt doesn’t make much sense for snowy weather. This sweater is a must-own item, and it comes in several beautiful colors. I absolutely love the gorgeous green tone of this one, along with the cushy sleeves and buttons all the way down the front. And the skirty bottom of the sweater is just plain adorable. Add all of that to the gorgeous turtleneck, and we’ve got a winner baby.
I added the skirt from Skin Flicks, which is a super flattering tweed micro mini. It makes the legs and bum look itty bitty, and the tight fit is a perfect balance to the loosely fitting sweater. To make up for the fact that most people would not dare wear a micro mini out in the snow, I added some adorable pantyhose from No. 9 Nylons to balance the whole outfit. I toyed with the idea of wearing gold tights under the skirt, but I couldn’t find any I really liked, so here we go. And, actually, I think these pantyhose turned out better anyway…so there we have it.
Perhap my favorite parts of this particular outfit are the boots and socks from Maitreya. These sexy boots, in ash leather, were the PERFECT shoes to round out the whole look. And when I added the black socks that come with them, oh wow oh wow oh wow…I just LOVE this look! Since the prim attachments of the sweater didn’t really allow for much accessorizing as far as jewelry goes, I decided to keep it simple with a single ring, which I just picked up at the Jewelry Expo yesterday. It is a super cute black pearl flower bauble ring, and it perfectly complements the black undertones of the whole ensemble. All in all, this is one of my favorite looks to date! I hope you enjoyed!
