So, apparently lady luck is in my corner, because, lately, I have been flooded by a string of gorgeous lucky chair items. I just love it when I TP to a store on a whim, wishing for an S on the lucky chair, only to find exactly what I hoped for, and I am in and out in a matter of minutes! Therefore, I thought it would be appropriate to honor my good fortune by putting together a look based on my new favorite lucky chair item…
First, I want to officially declare that I am in love with {Zaara}. Seriously, I own at least half of the store already, and I’m not even finished yet. So, it is no surprise that this gorgeous lucky chair special was at the top of my envy list. Plus, I think it is a GREAT idea to put original items in lucky chairs. There’s just something about an item that can’t be bought that really makes me want it even more. However, I am not a big fan of camping out in front of a lucky chair for hours…frankly, I don’t have the time. So, while I love a lucky chair, I usually miss out on the all of the lucky goodness because I don’t have the time or patience to wait around.
That being said, I still keep various lucky chair locations in the back of my mind, waiting for that perfect moment when I have absolutely nothing to do and feel the urge to test my luck. This weekend provided a few such occasions. On a whim, I TPed straight into several stores IN A ROW, and the lovely letter S was just shining with pride on my lucky chair of choice. Obviously, I was flabbergasted! After a few YAYs, I went on my way…back home to unpack my goodies and bask in the glow of my success! I even put on this dress, headed back to the {Zaara} mainstore, and showed it off for everyone to envy. In hindsight, that was not very nice, but I couldn’t help myself. I was beaming with joy!
So, anyway, on to the dress! This dress is just plain fantastic! I adore the gorgeous jewel tones and the lovely silk texture. Not to mention the killer neckline, beautiful pattern, and sexy bustline. The dress seriously required no editing at all, which is a huge plus for me. Also, the set came with these gorgeous dark tights, which I think are perfect for fall.
To accessorize my look, I knew exactly what I wanted, and exactly where to find it. Yet again, Muse came to my rescue with this exquisite feather necklace and adorable matching earrings. I just love the design of it, and it is a perfect match to the peacock theme of the dress. Also, I love that the blue jewels in the jewelry accentuates the gorgeous blue tones in the dress. Also, the lovely gold metal is a perfect match to the gold detailing in the pattern of the dress. I think I picked a winner in this jewelry set, which is so beautiful I decided to only accessorize further with a beautiful gold and aqua watch from Muse. For shoes, I had to pull more gold from the dress, and decided on these gorgeous ChiChi pumps in Golden Velvet from Maitreya.
So, in short, I encourage you to go test your luck at the lucky chair located at the {Zaara} mainstore…you might have a surprise in store!
