So, I’ve never been to Paris, but I can imagine how beautiful it must be. Since I was in the mood for a little travel today, I decided to put together my most Parisian ensemble and head out for some adventure in a new city…
First of all, let me say this: Cerrie calls me her little dress-happy cohort, and she is absolutely right! I can’t resist a good dress… Even in my RL, I am a dress-freak, so it definitely carries over into SL. But ESPECIALLY my love for the perfect high-waisted skirt! One of the many reasons I love the Retrology sim so much is the fact that there is no short supply of retro styles that tickle my fancy. So, when I found this elegant ensemble at Icing in the Retrology sim, I knew I had struck Parisian gold.
The fit of this skirt and blouse are absolutely amazing, hugging the curves like a dream. I love the beautiful texture and gathered detailing of the skirt, and the silk texture in the blouse looks absolutely REAL! Plus, I am such a sucker for poof sleeves, and the skinny black belt makes the waist look so itty-bitty. To add to the overall sexiness of this look, I added a new favorite of mine, Sole’ Daisy Elegance shoes in Cherry! Asri Falcone had a huge 50% sale on all her shoes this weekend, so I STOCKED UP!!!!!! This cherry pair is my first pair of Sole’ shoes, and now I am forever addicted! Such a gorgeous shoe with an uber-sexy strap and heel height and adorable bows!
To accessorize, I added a few more new favorites. After a little shopping spree at Muse in which I picked up so many new items, I decided that a few of them would be perfect for this look. So, I chose to wear this beautiful black pearl and diamond choker, an eye-popping black pearl ring, and my new favorite watch in black and silver! To complete the look, I added in a black and ruby bangle and heart-shaped diamond studs for good measure. All in all, I’d say this look turned out to be worthy of the high-fashion streets of Paris…
