Club Remedy

For the past week, I have been making almost-nightly visits to a new club in SL, CLUB REMEDY.  For those who care, here are my thoughts…

Honestly, I am always looking for new things to do in SL.  While most of my time is spent shopping, assembling KILLER outfits (I flatter myself, lol), doing photo shoots, or exploring different sims for the best photo ops, some of my favorite SL activities include dancing, listening to great music, and meeting new and interesting people.  So, when I first ran into Club Remedy’s co-owner, Remedy Baxton, at Action Surf & Sk8te, and he offered me the opportunity to see his new club, I couldn’t pass up the chance to experience something new and different.

Remedy was kind enough to give me a tour of Club Remedy on Sunday, while the club was closed.  He showed me around, pointing out the dance floor, sitting areas, Zyngo machines (for all the addicts, he says…lol), and stripper poles.  I noticed that the layout of the club is unique unto itself, with a really nice dance floor on one end, and an intimate sitting area located behind the DJ where patrons can go to relax, chill, hang out, and talk.  The club boasts a very large dance floor, with nice lighting, GREAT music, and a really great dance ball and dance line.  Also featured are several stripper poles, which are always occupied by really hot dancers, eager to please. : )

Sexy Sleepwear Event

Club Remedy has nightly events from 6 to 8 SL time, Monday through Saturday, so, I decided to attend a few different events in order to experience a variety of DJs and themes and to give the club a few chances to impress me.  And, although I went to most events last week, I was surprised that I was so won over on my first trip.  Truly, my first impression was a lasting one…I was immediately taken aback by the friendly nature of all of its patrons, especially the kind host, great DJ, and sexy dancers. : )  And, of equal importance, the music was AWESOME!  I have very eclectic taste in music, but I can be picky at times.  So, I was surprised that none of the DJs all week played anything that I didn’t enjoy!  That is a feat in and of itself!

60s Night

Some of my favorite events of the week included 60s night and sexy sleepwear (both pictured above).  Trust me, the events are always interesting, and the conversations are ALWAYS super-spicy. : )  Some of Club Remedy’s best features include:  GREAT music (did I already mention that? lol), friendly VIPs, interestingly-themed events with costume contests, sexy dancers, trivia, truth or dare (which can get REALLY steamy and up-close-and-personal), awesome hosts and DJs (who are eager to take requests!!!!), and a SuperSploder with great payouts!

But by far, the best feature of the club is the people!  With the BEST patrons any club could ask for, Club Remedy is off to a very strong start.  I consider it my pleasure to have met the likes of Remedy, Jarrod, Tithe, Jadyn, Cher, SonicDave, Sawa, Starshine, Twang, Neko, Speedy, and MANY others, and look forward to being friends with them all (if they’ll have me…lol)!  : )

So, to conclude, I’m sure most SLers already have a club they tend to frequent, but, if you’re looking for a great time with great people and great music, give Club Remedy a try. : )  I’m sure you won’t be disappointed…And if you do visit, and enjoy yourself, which I’m sure you will, don’t forget to tip the awesome host, DJ, and dancers. : )  I hope to see you there!!!!!
