I feel pretty…oh so pretty…

After meeting with the oh-so-awesome Cerrie Janus yesterday about contributing to her fantabulous blog, Fashion Ascension, I was (and still am!) just plain giddy!!!! The meeting was certainly a cause for celebration, so I got all dressed up for a night out on the town and cocktails with a few of my friends… : )

This little number is one of my favorite party dresses, and, let me tell you, it is ALWAYS a crowd pleaser! It is a such a well-made dress, fitting the body so well…and the bold print is sure to be noticed, helping you stand out in a crowd! Seriously…I have received so many compliments in this dress, it is hard to keep track of them all… : )

I simply love the adorable poofy skirt, which moves like a dream. And the super-sexy underlayer finishes it off with a loud, sexy bang! However, the skirt posed a few problems for my avie the first time I wore it. It was a bit too big and off-centered, but after a few easy adjustments, I was party-ready! I even shortened the skirt a little bit to show off more leg…

Since the skirt is black and white, I definitely needed a color boost for my footsies. So, I broke out these adorable minty treasures, which I just picked up the other day for a STEAL (maybe $10L)! I thought they added the perfect punch of color to the whole look. And the detailed straps and buckles provide the icing on the cake for these POWERHOUSE pumps…
